Default How are you exercising??

Hi everyone!
I'm curious to see what you do for exercise daily and what phase your in.

I am day 4 of phase 1 and I haven't cheated at all. I walk to and from work which amounts to about 4 miles a day and if I'm bored or am feeling fat I ride a stationary bike for about 10-30 minutes.

How are you doing?!

I have just found a new exercise that i actually look forward to. My dd and I walk over to my fathers house and swim in his pool.

We have the BEST time working out together. She is 7, so working out with her consists of racing from one end of the pool to the other. Doing chin ups on the end of the diving board, etc. We raced on floats from one end to the other over and over, my arms are beat today. I am just loving it though. It is usually in the 90's here, so outdoor exercise is not advised, even in the morning it is 80-something and humid. Just too hot for me to walk. But the pool is working great, even without doing official "laps".

On the evenings when it is not terribly hot, i do A LOT of gardening in my vegtable and herb garden.

I have to do creative exercises or i get REALLY bored and put it off until i dont do anything. So i have to keep on myself about it and MAKE myself do something EVERY DAY. I once read someone's post that said, "i only exercise on the days that i eat...so i exercise every day" i just thought that was a great way to look at it. It has really inspired me to do SOMETHING everyday.

Itīs freezing cold here and itīs raining a lot so I cannot do outside workout. I do 30- 40 minutes in my elliptical machine and itīs working great! I used to run or use a stationary bike but I enjoy ellipticals much more.

I am training for the Breast Cancer 3 Day in November so I walk about 15-20 miles/ week. On days I do not walk, I can be found at the gym usually on the elliptical with the arm workout handles.( Although recently I have gotten into the one without the arm workout things. ) then on the weights or weight machines. I try to take one day easy and have my activity consist of some roughhousing with my cousins, playing at the park, or swimming with them in their pool. So far this is working marvelously. I am averaging 3.2lbs lost/ week!

Well I started out doing Phase 1 but actually did Phase 2. I upped my cardio this week but didn't exercise everyday like I wanted to. This week I went to the gym twice so far and worked out at least an hour.

I go to the gym 4-5 days per week. Some days I work with the trainer doing mostly resistance exercises and other days I do classes (i.e. Step Aerobics, Spinning, Zumba). I also do fitness DVD's at home once or twice per week....Plus, I have 4 kids, so just chasing them around is a pretty good workout

I am doing 4 miles on the treadmill in the mornings and then pilates in the evening. So far all is well-any movement at this point is better than what I was doing before since I was pretty sedentary.
