Cool So I couldn't help myself

Forgive me all, I peeked at scales yesterday and was a little disappointed. I am one day four of phase one of the fatsmash diet and according to the darn scales, I have only lost a pound. Does the weight fall off(ha) towards the end of the first phase.....perhaps on the tenth day....is that why we are asked to stay off the scale.....please anyone....a lifeline here

Thanks

Lisa

One pound is still a pound gone! Have you ever looked at a pound of butter? Imagine that much fat gone from your thighs

Keep it up, you'll probably get a nice surprise

I'm on Day 5 and have peeked too, I wish I wouldn't have though, it almost discouraged me also. Mine said 2 lbs...which is not bad, but I think I just feel that I've changed things so drastically that it should be more, kwim? I'm really going to try to make it the whole 3 weeks and see what comes of it. I'm also interested to see if others post that the weight just all the sudden seemed to come off a bit easier.
Best wishes to you and hang in there.

If you never did much exercise before and now you are, you might have exchanged some fat for muscle, which weighs more than fat, and so your scale results might not show the real story. Are you feeling thinner? I know I did after even 2 pounds and was surprised by that. Also, having dieted before, I know that for me it makes a difference if I am PMS-ing or having lots of salt or even less sleep or more stress. The first time I ever dieted on WW, I lost only .5 pounds the first week and then I think my body realized that I really wasn't going to starve and I lost much quicker the following weeks. So, hang in there! Even if your weight loss is slower than you'd like you're still getting healthier!
