Default Frustrated Week Two Phase Two

Good morning ladies! It's a chilly 50ish degrees here in sunny Florida. I was so sick yesterday and called in to work and school and just stayed in bed for a consecutive 25 hours...it was heaven! I have't slept like that in forever. I am feeling better today, but I am at my wit's end! I don't understand this process! I lost 8 pounds my first phase and now I come to the end of my first week on phase two and stayed the same?! I'm gonna try and up my calories and exercise this week. I guess I can't say that I didn't expect this...I haven't worked out at all this week with bein sick and all. I know I can do this...I just have to try harder I guess

Hi -

Don't worry about not losing this week, it will come off. I lost 1-2 lbs when I did P2 but I backed off the meat to only 2-3 days per week and I think that helped. I never did add the cheese or eggs because I wasn't missing them Good luck and glad you are better. It has been 0 degrees here so 50s sound pretty good Lem

Dr. Ian does recommend increasing exercise in phase 2... because you are eating more calories than you were in phase 1. Good luck to you.

Default Same Problem and Frustration

I also lost 8lbs. in phase 1 but I have lost nothing in week 1 and 1/2 of phase 2. I was very upset when I weighed on Wednesday.

I was so pleased with my loss in phase 1, and that was really helping me stick to the plan. I was also really proud of myself for sticking with FS. I have not felt that deprived but there are a few things that I really miss.

Now I am just angry about not losing in phase 2. I know that I am eating more calories than in phase 1, but I am still eating alot less than I was prior to FS. I have given up so many of the foods (fast food, Coca-Cola, chips, candy, bread, pasta, etc.) that I love to eat. So since Wednesday I have really slipped and strayed from the plan.

I know that FS is a healthy way to eat, but I want to the weight to come off.

I have begun to wonder if I am actually eating enough calories on FS. How do I know if I am eating enough?

Hi Beth,

Here is a tool to help you figure out how many calories you need a day. You can also input your food into www.fitday.com to keep up with how many calories you are eating a day. Hope it helps.
