Curves anyone? - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Good Evening Fat Smashers!! I was wondering if any of you have joined Curves? I live so close to one, and it seems reasonable with the 30 min work outs. Do you guys know how much it cost? And do you any of you like it?

I am not a member, I work at one. Its really amazing. Its 44 a month for the 12 month contract, in orange county, i am not sure about seattle. i love that its only 30 minutes, it does it by working two muscle groups at once and it uses hydrolics to get resistance. and you are doing the machines at such a fast pace that you get your cardio. so it really is a total work out. and its so much fun. there are crazy dress up days and games and prizes and its just an amazing environment. honestly. when i quit i am getting a membership. its so much more personal that another gym. we weigh and measure you once a month and someone is always right there in the circuit to keep you motivated. so its nice.

I used to belong to curves but I couldn't afford it however if you can i would recommend it. I loved it when i went. I now belong to another gym but I would definitely go back to curves

I was a member of Curves and liked the fact I could do it on my lunch hour. I now belong to a gym where I only pay $9 a month so it was a better deal. I think I was paying $39 a month and that's in Sacramento, CA. That was a couple of years ago.

I am basically staying on phase I but I'm still drinking my juice in the morning and I'll up my excercise. I think that might work.

Do you by chance bellydance?

Not professionally by all means....I've dabbled in classes and DVDs. I incorporate with my workouts when I can!

There's a woman I work with who teaches on the side. She has a weekly lesson here at work that I go to. I just LOVE it!
