Lori - goodness girl! Hope you get to feeling much better soon. I agree with Michele, it sounds like it may be more than just an ordinary bladder infection. Take care of yourself.
Also, glad to here that Deb is doing OK and that the funeral went well. Michele - Good luck with the job hunting. I always hated doing the resume/interview thing. I have gotten 3 jobs in the last 8 years (MN and TX) through agencies. My last 2 were supposed to be short term temp jobs to fill in while they were looking for someone permanant and ended up working full time. Less of Me - Welcome to the site, like Margie says, it is grand. I have never been so enthused about forums to actually want to stick with it, but since I've discovered 3FC, I check everyday at least once or twice because I can't wait to see how everyone is doing. Sue - Me too! I can't wait till The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe come out. It looks like another awesome family movie. My kids have read some of the Narnia books, but I haven't. Margie - Did you watch the Biggest Loser last night? I love watching that show. It is so inspiring. I only wish that I had 24/7 to devote to eating right and exercising too. But, that is what support from family and friends are for. Thanks y'all. Everyone - have an awesome day. |
Hi all!
Mitchy- Good luck job hunting, you are a talented lady so don't assume you'll have a problem. So nice of you to help out your friend conversation alone can make a day of working go easier. Its always more fun with friends.
Wilma- you've done an awesome job this year, I am sure the last 10 will melt away! Margie- Hi there! never enough friends, it will be neat if you get a chance to meet her. Beth-= The chronicles of Narnia are great kids books, I read them along time ago. The graphics look cool in this movie, similar to Lord of Rings, both were Christian authors. I watch NCIS when the biggest loser is on, but like that series too. Hi there pixiefalls- I have to second that, cheesecake sounds yummy- Hi to everyone else. EZ,Sunny, Lori, ECt..... I helped put tree up today at friends house (prelight) so just had to put it together and plug it in, decorate the rest later this week. Youth group tonight- Christmas play practice, gotta get busy on those outfits procrastinating, something I don't usually do! |
Wednesday
HI GALS:wave:
What did you all think of Biggest Loooooooooooser? I was so impressed by almost all of their losses! As far as the winner...kinda was pulling for Seth~~ but ya gotta give Matt credit~~ the biggest % of all of them!! Angie is making turkey soup tonight for dinner so I have a few minutes to spare here. My ham and bean soup was a :bomb: big hit :bomb: last night~~ but Angie almost :faint: from the fall-out  AUNT SUE~ So glad to hear from you. Have you bought the little one tons of stuff yet? She should really like the "boxes' this year;) ..those little ones really love the paper, bows and boxes. I have a friend at church that is a huge C.S. Lewis fan~~ looking forward to the movie here too. Have fun with the rest of the decorating. Now :coach: :drill: get after those costumes! :coach: :drill: MARGIE~ Super! With the new friend~~ I have been over there a little~~ that sneaky LORI has too;) How is the kiddo's Nutcracker going? WILMA~Nah! I am not that romantic...however...I am not a total dufus either;) Salads can get boring can't they? I usually throw some deli lean meat in mine for some extra flavor when I am taking them to work. How is the big guy doing with his asthma? MICHELE~ Good luck with the job hunting! Plenty of work here...but..oh my! the cost of living!! As you well know!! BETH~:coach: :coach: :drill: NINE MONTHS!!~~HOLY MOLY~~SOME PEOPLE CAN HAVE BABIES IN THAT LENGTH OF TIME~~ YOU CAN EASILY ;) GET BACK TO YOUR HIGH SCHOOL SHAPE!! :coach: :drill: Well, maybe not "easily"...but hey, with all of us here pulling and PUSHING you it can be done~~:drill: Now get away from the computer and start walking!! ;) PIXIEFALLS~ OK Hilary~ How do you act "vegan"? Is that like acting a little nutty?:spin: LORI~ SO SORRY TO HEAR YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL~~ PRAYERS~PRAYERS~PRAYERS!! FOR YOUR HEALING!! Glad to hear the funeral went well (as well as they can I suppose). continued prayers for all of the family and friends as the healing process continues. Did Abbi ever get any of the post cards we sent? She certainly should have by now. How did the "Thanksgiving" situation turn out? Well~ Hello to all the M.I.A.'s Off to bring in trash cans........later, Gary DON'TCHA JUST LOVE ALL THE NEW SIGNATURES GRAPHICGODDESS GAVE US?! AIN'T SHE JUST THE SWEETEST?!!;) |
Quote:
Gary -- haha well, I've been M.I.A. with meat lately.. even today.. ate no meat *shrugs* I really haven't been craving it. Is that weird;)? Sue -- Doesn't it though? That's what has been stuck in my mind since I saw it:lol:. Everyone -- never give up on what you most want! I'm 19 pounds down since the date in my sig.. it's amazing the transformations, let's keep it up. I love the holidays! :gift2: |
Junior and me went to church tonight! The Lord is working in our lives! Have a big date with him tomorrow.
Today i did grocery shopping for my friend and cooked. I made a potroast with mushrooms, onion, carrot and potato and some broccoli and cauliflower salad and chicken breasts with cream sauce. Her hubby was happy! |
Thank you all so much for your responses and support. What I meant by eating in the flesh, is that I'm listening to "me" about what and when I should eat, instead of praying and listening to the Holy Spirit about what I should be doing. I think if I can listen more to God and have Him guide me, then I know the choices and the time of when I eat will be the right path. Make sense? Just easier said then done.
I am involved in a prison ministry and while I was there last night, I found a passage about fasting that was really interesting in Isaiah 58:6: Rather is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke? Food/carbs are definitely my oppression! Lori: my prayers are with you! |
Hi there!
E.Z.- Our little niece is already attacking the tree- they put it up weekend following Thanksgiving and she takes ornaments down and is unwrapping things, so should be interesting.. Her sister left her homework by her bookbag and Kaylee ripped it so she had to re-write it again, Can't wait till she is fully mobile then she'll keep them busy. I have got her several things debating on rocking horse as its $60. but it rocks automatically, which is cool... She already likes boxes, and pots and pans ect... She is doing so well. will have to post her Christmas pic when I get it. Thanks for the push on costumes gotta get busy there.
Hillary- love cheesecake, I have thought about it since you brought it up and I as well love the holidays- they go so fast though, I like baking, and doing special gifts for people and all the decorating and lights ect. the season goes to quickly and I must admit spend to much of it involved with something other than our blessed savior... Hi to all Mia's see ya |
Hi!

Thursday
HI GALS:wave:
Well, I had a short day at work today, then went to the grocery store and produce market. I have stuffed cabbage cooking in the oven for dinner. Gonna visit here for a few then off to the pantry in the garage~~ it sure needs some organization! Angie and I "slung" stuff around over Thanksgiving...well, probably "me" doing the slingin';) I found out that if I can't find something and just start "slingin'" stuff that I feel better;) Of course I just make more of a mess...so...off to the garage I go!! What about LOSTladies? Getting stranger by the week!!! I'm staying away from computers...just in case:lol: GRAPHICGODDESS~Is that really you?;) Oh, and pay some bills for me too:D AUNT SUEActually~~I~~brought up the cheesecake first...my daughter made some for Thanksgiving for Angie and I...Amaretto...so you can blame all the extra calories on me!!;) Ya know, Kaylee...don'tcha just love the second part of her name?....LEE...just like MY middle name~ thank-you!!;) I tell you though girl~~that kid is trouble!! OH YEA!!~~getting into the Christmas tree and homework~~sounds exactly like REBA and RYLEE...bad~bad~NEWS!!!   SCARLETT~ Now I understand the fleshly thing...thanks for the info. My daughter's :barf: :barf: boyfriend :barf: :barf: and his family don't eat meat...well, he does, a little...every now and then some chicken or chicken nuggets and of course IN~N~OUT BURGERS...(need a California connection to understand that one). MICHELE~ Potroast AND chicken breasts? That's it~ I'm coming for dinner...you KNOW that I can be there in less than 3 hours;) HILARY~ Great job on the 19 pounds!! You are the BIGGEST LOOOOSER here today!! If you saw the post above to Scarlett...the reason my daughter's :barf: :barf: boyfriend's :barf: :barf: mom doesn't eat meat, it is because she can't stand the texture in her mouth....her parents are meat eaters...maybe one day you will fell the same way.I had a friend years ago that went vegetarian...several years later when he tried to eat meat again he got very ill...maybe there is something to it?...anyway, he worked his way back. Well off to organizing the garage food pantry!! |
Good Morning!
One more day of work and then it's the weekend!! We are going to spend all day Sunday with my mom. She had surgery on Monday on her foot and she's laid up for a couple of weeks. I plan to cook up some meals for her and do a bit of baking. She lives almost 2 hours away so I can't do a whole lot for her but spending the day with her will give others a break.
Gary: I also tried to keep up with "The Biggest Loser". I was really impressed with how great they looked. I didn't even recognize one of them on the final show. He was the one who had been sent home and then came back to win money. I can't remember his name. These people lost a lot of weight but then they worked out 8 hours a day! As far as DS's asthma issue - we still haven't heard from the specialist. Up here in Canada we have free medicare but the waiting time is ridiculous. Hopefully we will hear soon. It's been 2 months now. DS's doc said it never takes this long. I think DR will end up sending him for allergy tests too just to rule out an possibilities there. Sunny: Looking forward to your post. You must be incredibly busy these days. Is everything going okay? doitforme: Little ones are so cute at Christmas. Their curiosity is so cute. Frustrating sometimes but cute. You are going to have so much fun with her. Pixie: You have been doing awesome with your weightloss.:carrot: :carrot: Keep up the great work! Are people starting to notice? Michele: Yum! You could come cook for me anytime. so glad to hear that you and Junior are hitting it off so well. Hello to all I missed and to those MIA. Have a great day! |
finally some time to post!!
Been trying to keep up with all the posts but am sure I have missed many.
Been awhile since I have posted - busy with homeschooling my 16 year old daughter (she has Down Syndrome) and with worrying about our new grandson and his heart surgery. But grandson is doing fine now - home from children's hospital and gaining weight!! Our son - that is another story - instead of getting better it seems to be getting worse for him - all I can do at this time is pray for him as he just shuts the door with respect to having any 'family help' - really sad to have to stand back and watch such a beauitful young person walk down the wrong path - only a couple of steps of the correct path - but still the wrong path. Making too many bad choices and not wanting to listen to anyone who could 'guide / help' him. Weight wise: No change at all. Still really struggling. Have so very much to lose but seem to be stuck on the same 5 pounds. But Lord willing this being a new month with a new start - I will start to see some positive changes and feel better. Walking: That had all gone by the wayside - got up to 990 miles and then fell ill and had not walked since. Yesterday being December 1 we ( hubby and me) decided it was time to start walking again - no excuses. Before having the relapse of cancer I was walking as much as 2 miles a day - this is 14 laps at our Rec Plex. Yesterday we went for our walk and I found I could only do 1 lap - so I am back to the beginning. Today we went - after another doc appointment - and I made myself do 2 laps - this give me 1/4 mile:carrot: As hubby is off for the month of December for holidays we are going to go every day - even Sunday's in order for me to get my strength back up. Then for Jan through March we will walk on his days off - and in April he will be on holidays again (April 11) and will be on them till end of May and June 1 he retires. So we will be walking every day as of April 11 - so am wanting to work myself back up to 2 - 3 miles each day. Also I have some CD's that have Scripture on them - put to music - and if you walk through the whole CD you will have walked 50 minutes - so will be using those at home - putting them on in the computer room after sitting at the computer for 1/2 hour - making me get up and walk in place for even just 10 minutes. Every little bit helps. Have most of my shopping done for Christmas - all the grandchildren bought for as well as our son and daugther (our two older daughters we just buy for the grandchildren as family is getting rather big). Figure Skating 'Celebration on Ice' is coming her in March 2006 so hubby bought very good seats yesterday ($50 a ticket) so that the three of us can go - I had mentioned to him that could be a Christmas give. Also am going to be purchasing a very good stationary bike and a gazelle (Tony Little one) from a friend. She has not been able to use it do to medical problems so we are going to get both of these barely used machines for $300.00 and she is then going to throw in a double bed (they are moving and down sizing). So that is going to be my Christmas (the bed we are going to put up in Priscilla's room - she has a twin - and put the twin downstairs in hubbies computer room in for when he comes home late from work or when I disturb him due to 'snoring' he will have a place to go to. Not that I snore :o Anyway that is about all for now - am working on 10 pounds to be off as soon as possible - and believe with the walking and watching the protions this hopefully will be off very soon. |
Gary~you and Angie are welcome anytime! Tonight I'm making Shrimp Fettucine with a white wine garlic and shallot cream sauce...and tomorrow i'm cooking for Junior. We're going to cook together but i made him hungry for pot roast w/mushrooms and he's making the taters, and i'm making him homemade tortillas and i'm going to make him eat a vegetable or salad. Sorry about all the food talk... Seems the holidays are food related for us at my house.
Can you believe Christmas is 23 days away? Ya, it's giving me anxiety too. Marilyn, sorry for the continued problems with DS. Pray. I'll keep you all in prayer, but sometimes, that's all you can do. Wilma, thanks for the well wishes. I'm surprised still how well Junior and I get along. Not that we haven't had our ups and downs....already. I forgot how hard it is sometimes to have a relationship. But i'm thankful. Hello to all and  Prayers for you all too. |

I'm down from a size 22 to an 18 and *those* are starting to get loose, it's all coming at me so fast:dizzy:! SunnyD -- they are goregous, I love'em! You're a sweetie  |
Wow Hilary, kudos to you!! That is really something! Keep it up! I bet you feel great that people are starting to notice!
|
Hilary, that is incredible news congratulations on that weight loss! The hard part is always getting started and having the motivation. I'm sure that 20 lbs is definitely noticable. We went to Mexican last night, but we skipped the fried icecream! That's progress in my book :)
|
Pixie: It does feel great doesn't it? We went to visit friends where we used to live and I hadn't seen some of the people there for 3 years. I have lost 30 lbs since moving and the comments I got made me feel really great. Better yet it the shopping and the energy. Feels so GOOD!

LOL, GARY~ I'm happy for you! :)
Sorry I've been MIA for so long - I just don't feel like doing much - my kidney infection is better, but my cousin put me on Cipro and it has me dizzy, tired and MEANER than ever! The kids have been giving me a wide berth! Deb just left after visiting today - she's hanging in there - one good thing is that the minister that spoke at the funeral on Monday invited her to his church and I think she is going tomorrow - Deb and Dan didn't go to church as she is Catholic and he was Methodist - the church she is going to tomorrow is Methodist - so please pray she gets a lot out of it and finds some supportive Christian people to help her through - MICHELE - That's great about Junior - I know you are having a great time! :welcome3: to all you new ladies! You will LOVE it here! Thanks so much to all of you for praying for Deb and myself during my kidney infection - I'm on the mend!! Have a great Lord's Day tomorrow! to all of you!!! |

Lori -- That's good your infection is getting better but I'm sorry the medicine has some nasty side effects:( Gary -- haha congrats to the win:p Uck, yesterday was a not-so-good day (not eating wise) but like every bad thing you just have to put it behind you and move on.. |
Angie is having a boat load of trouble trying to get our picture as my avatar. It keeps coming up too large...any help would be cool...thanks Gary
|
Hi Gary,
I had trouble with it too - I used photobucket.com and downloaded my pics there - then where it says resize the image, do the 50% first - if that is still to large, just try 25% of that and see what happens - you really have to mess with it - |
Thanks for the advice, Lori. As you can see, it worked although the pic is very small. Angie
|
Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is having a good day so far. I'll be back to post more. Busy day at work today.

Hello everyone! I am new to this website and forum, and I was thrilled to find a Christian support group!
Allow me to introduce myself and tell you all a little about me. My name is Christina, and I am 27 years old. I live in Florida with my husband and our cat, and I am a chemistry graduate student. I have been married for 11 months now, and my husband has been such a wonderful blessing in my life. He is a man of incredible faith and has helped me develop a deeper relationship with God and grow stronger in my beliefs  After our wedding, we got into some pretty unhealthy eating habits (takeout and frozen foods - ugh). So this November, we decided to go on SBD together to lose a bit of weight and help us adopt lifelong healthy habits. So far, it's going incredibly well, and it's great to have my husband along to motivate and support me! In my free time (haha!) I enjoy writing, walking, scrapbooking, photography, cooking, knitting, and Pilates. It's so nice to meet everyone, and I look forward to talking to all of you! |

Hey Christina! It's wonderful to see new faces. All the things you mentioned.. I like to do them as well but some of them I favor muchly.. like photography, pictures are beautiful but I love them all! It is a great blessing to find a husband who is understanding, supporting, and has a deep faith in God. I'm happy for you:). It's a great support here, wonderful people who share the same faith so stick around.. you'll love it:^:. I'm glad you posted, I was feeling a bit down until I read it. :) |
Welcome CRK05. You will love these guys........gals.....women and man, men........people.......aw heck, you know what I mean. This is a great group. It is awesome to have your husbands support. It makes it much easier to go through.
Hilary - way to go girl. Keep up the good work. Lori - Glad to hear your kidneys are better. It is good that Deb has you for a friend. She will find her niche in church too. Encourage her to get involved in a group. Women's circle or Bible study. It is awesome to have a close knit bunch of people to fellowship with. I'll pray for her. I know that my church has been been great for my family and we look forward to Sundays and being with all of our friends. Gary - congrats on USC's win. I am kinda lost when it comes to college ball, but yeah USC!!!!!! Greetings to everyone else. I apologize for the short note........my husband and I are involved in a tax class. We have been going 2 times a week for the last 4 weeks, now we will be going everyday for the next 2 + weeks. It is very interesting and fun. I now understand much more about credits and deductions etc. We plan on doing taxes part time in the New Year. Anyway, I think I am going to go bonkers going at it that hard, but we'll see. Till the next time...... God Bless everyone. |
Needing to Slow Down My Life
Hello All...I feel like I'm a MIA person.
I have been marathoning jewelry for the big show last weekend WHICH WAS A FLOP! :( :?: That's ok though, experience teaches us. We are going to have a Jewelry plus Craft Open House this weekend at the community house where my friend lives. Hopefully we'll do good. I sell most of my jewelry on the side. How is everyone? WOW...the siggys are beautiful! And...a lot of new names. All you CAers...is it warm there? SunnyD...it MUST be cold there in OH. It is here. I have a fleece blanket (lap size) around my shoulders today at work. I look like an old lady...BUT...I'm warm. EZ...I was hoping to see the pic of you and your lovely bride up close but I can't seem to get it bigger. Do you live close to Michele? Michele...Are you going to be sending me any of that good food you've been making? Sprout, Wilma, everyone...I pray each and every one of you have a blessed Christmas and safe travels wherever you go. Be back! |
Tuesday Afternoon
HI GALS:wave:
I see things are a little slow around here "again"! You all must be out there exercising :strong: :wl: :tread: like I am :sssh: :nono: :sssh: NOT!..and why is that? :dunno: I have had plenty of time the last few days to with work being slow for me right now. I was watching television this afternoon and saw a show I hadn't seen before, on Discovery Health, called I LOST IT...about people that have lost a lot of weight doing the right things such as Weight Watchers, exercise and Curves...oh, and of course eating better!! Good show to inspire!:) My son just called me on his way out the door of his classroom...he is heading to look at a condo to possibly purchase...anyway, he is a RAIDER fan just like me...and of course we got creamed by the hometown favorite CHARGERS on Sunday night...he didn't teach on Monday, as all the first year teachers had to go to a conference...this gave his classes time to post a bunch of CHARGERS WIN~RAIDERS LOSE stories all over his classroom~~ pretty funny.....wonder what the sub thought? MKAY Good to see you! ACTUALLY Mary, it has been rather :snow4: chilly here the last few nights and mornings...in the high 40's....brrrr....OK! STOP!! ...for us that is cold;) I know I have a pair of long pants around here somewhere:smug: At least the days have been sunny :sunny: and in the low 70's. I talked to my mom in Illinois yesterday and she said that it was 14 degrees that morning when she got up. Doesn't that just "bite" on the craft show! I remember the last street fair Angie sold her stuff at...I think we worked from 5am setting up and until 5pm selling...and still lost a few $$$$. But there is always HOPE~~~ she hadn't sold anything off her website in a few months, then last week she got 12 orders....she also hadn't sold any of her weight loss and exercise journals, then a guy calls and wants 20 of them to start and wants her to print more up for future orders...ya just never know. At least you have inventory now! Good luck at the show this week-end. I am probably about 100 miles from Michele. Angie couldn't get the picture any bigger to be accepted...we have a new digital and will be taking some new ones soon, although....the smaller the picture...the better I look!! BETH~ Good luck in the tax class, my ex-wife took a class the last 2 years and has been doing taxes on the side and during the season. [B]CHRISTINA[B] :welcome: HELLO and PRAYERS to everyone....off to put lasagna in the oven. |
Fat Man Still Walking
A FEW OF YOU HAVE ASKED ME IF THAT FAT MAN WAS STILL WALKING...I JUST LOOKED IT UP...HE IS...you can check it out at www.thefatmanwalking.com
Cool~~ GARY |
Hi All!
Just a quick note before heading off to bed. Nothing much exciting happening around here. I spent the evening watching Amazing Race and basically doing nothing. Oh, I baked a cake for a staff member who's last day is tomorrow.
We have almost all our Christmas shopping done - just a couple more things for the married ones. This coming weekend we have 2 Christmas parties to go to so that should help get us in the spirit Gary: Long pants!! How about a heavy parka, mitts and toque?!? I'd love to trade one winter with you. I know who would like it more!! mkay: I'm sorry your sale went so poorly. Maybe the next one will be the bonanza for you. Glad to see you back here! crk: Welcome to you! This IS a great place to be! We hope you post often. Well, I'm starting to nod off here so it's best if I just go to bed. Good Night! |

But then you knew that- I'll catch ya all later- gotta go shopping! Then off to party/prayer meeting tonight. Have an awesome day!
|
Sue, Kaylee is a beautiful child! So cool that she is wearing a real Chinese dress. She's just an angel... Can't seem to get it together as far as being on program, but daily i do try to make good choices. Going to my friends house again today to do some cooking for her. And her grocery shopping. It works well because i'm a good shopper and I love to do it and it saves her time and money. Junior came over yesterday to help put some outside christmas lights up and also he put up a cabinet door for my mom. Things my dad has a hard time doing after his stroke. He stayed for awhile and we looked at some old family photographs, some of my yearbook albums. We watched TV for awhile, visited with my folks. Life is good.... Busy trying to get ready for Christmas, cards to do, baking, cleaning, decorating...but i love it!! This is my favorite time of year! Hugs to all  |
Wilma- Thank you for the compliment on my jewelry. I need all the uplifting I can get. I have almost zero shopping to do. My girls and their sig others will get a card with $ in it and DH and I are not exchanging. I really don't need anything.
doitforme! Georgeous little girl! Love the dress. EZ- :snow4:  Bring me sunshine and warm air. It is pretty to look at but I have to get out and about in the snow tonight. And just think...you almost moved right into it! Amen that you didn't. Michele...that goes for you too. Amen sista! Well, going to a vegetarian restaurant tonight with ladies from healthy eating class (ha ha after eating 6 cookies today). I really don't think I'm on a program right now. I really NEED to be on a program right now. Tomorrow, is pound in signs night to advertise for the jewelry show this weekend. Then...I'm going to put away the "stuff" for a bit and settle down into home life with my t-mill, better food choices, etc. THEN...bring back "stuff" into that world. Not the other way around. Well, gotta jet, almost time to go home...15 more minutes!:carrot: |

Hi Everyone,
Man oh man has it been COLD here! :snow4: Last night it was around 9 and right now it's only 20 - I think it got up to 22 today - sigh - My Indian princesses turned 10 today! :gift: Ate some Chinese food and probably will eat some of their birthday cake!:hb: Oh well, that's the way it goes. It seems the counselors at LAWL have decided to meet with the clients once a week instead of 2-3 times a week. I don't quite understand it - we paid for the 2-3 times per week and now it's just once a week - hmmmmmmmmmmm - oh well, I know I won't do as well because I need the accountability - sigh - Gary: Please send the warm weather this way - I don't do the heat well, but it seems the older I get, I don't do the cold well either! :dizzy: Sue: Kaylee is adorable! Love the outfit! Our girls have some beautiful Indian outfits but I have put them away for them - they would have them ruined, or at least their brothers would ruin them! Thanks for the prayers for continued healing! I'm feeling much better! Beth: Thanks for the prayers for Deb - she is going to get into grief counseling and some widow's groups - granted, some of the ladies will be older than her, but some will be her age, no doubt. She is 54. She did like the church which is really great! Christina: :welcome3: Angie: I know about the avatar being small - my pic is too small too! If anyone can help us out, please do!! Hilary: Thanks for the prayers! I feel much better! Michele: You were right - it wasn't just a bladder infection - a full-blown kidney infection, but I'm so much better! THANKS! Wilma: Thanks for prayers about Dan - it's been a couple weeks now and the shock is pretty much wearing off - Scarlett: Thanks for the prayers! Mary Kay: I know what you mean about being off program - I haven't been weighing and measuring stuff for a couple weeks now - weigh in tomorrow and then I may get serious again - hang in there! Hi to everyone else I may have missed! Prayers with you all!! |
Hi there!
Mitchy- Thanks! She is an angel! But then I guess I am prejudice, at least a little. So glad things are working out for you and junior. I must agree I love this time of year, as well.
M-Kay- Thanks! Right there with ya! Hard to be on program this time of year, I haven't been for a few weeks now, so figure I'll wait till the beginning of the new year one more time. Haven't got far to go now. E.Z.- Our niece is cute, and probably spoiled but that is o.k. She spent the first year of her life with nothing, now she can make up for it the second year. She certainly never lacks for attention. I love trans siberian orchestra- I have two of their albums, they also do awesome shows. The light show was cool.. tough being away from home on Christmas (Juan) will continue prayers for both of them and their families alot to deal with, it is a tough time watching someone going through what he is, especially this time of year. Is your nephew doing good still, he is blessed to have you as a mentor and role model. Lori- so glad your feeling better, really glad Deb liked the church hopefully she will keep going. Kaylee's dress will be put up as well, she will probably wear it Christmas day and that will be it. This is the first time she has worn it, for the picture. I am doing well, helped June (a friend from church) and her husband do a christmas party/prayer meeting tonight was alot of fun. Helped cut up cheese, pour punch cut up the ham do dishes ect. but always fun spending time with friends, especially Christian friends. Well off to bowling then working overtime tom. from 4p-9p, not to bad. Have a good one. |
Hey everyone! I've been so busy these past few days and trying to shake off my cold (which is almost gone except for a really nasty cough.) And school, and church tonight which was awesome:).
Sue -- Thank you, yep:). Kaylee is such a cute child! *aww* Lori -- of course, anytime you need prayers I'll be there;) (that is just wonderful you are feeling better) Steve (the fatmanwalking.com guy) was at Joplin, Missouri on the 5th. That's 6 hours from where I live! I've been there in 2001 and oh, it's gorgeous! We stayed at this hotel that looked like a tall old tower and it had beautiful vines and flowers growing around it.. it had a very homey feel. They brought you breakfast on a tray and put it into a slot outside your room that only you could open.. it was awesome to not have to try to make it to a free one! .. I love travel. Sorry to cut this short but my cough is crazy and giving me a headache. Sleep well all and stay warm! |
