Default LDS Support week of Sept. 26

I thought it would be good to start a weekly thread to keep this discussion going.

If you saw my post in the original thread, I'm back from my vacation/cruise -- along with an extra 8 pounds to lose since I also took a vacation from low carbing. Luckily we did a lot of walking during our shore excursions -- otherwise my gain probably would have been even worse!

It will be nice to get back into my routine, including exercising. I'm confident it will come off quickly.

How's everyone been doing?

I'm doing pretty good here. It's weird because I've had a queasy tummy so I haven't exercised this week (twice which is about 4 times less than usual) and I've finally broken my plateau. I was stuck at 160 forever and now I've finally broken it. I guess my body needed a break.
Nancy, it sounds like you had a FUN cruise! Well worth gaining a few pounds I'm sure. We all just have to get back on the wagon after a couple of days off.

Hope all of you are doing well! I'm going to get back to some exercise this week and up my fruit and veggie eating. I'd also like to start weight training this week because Christmas is a little over 12 weeks away and I should see results by then if I start now. Christmas season is so hard, of course Halloween isn't much better for me but I'm going to try hard this year. We are heading out to see relatives for Christmas so I'd like to be down by then..or at least less flabby and more toned.

Good luck ladies! Keep up the good work.
Amber

Congratulations Amber in breaking that plateau! I had been stuck at 184 for months before going on my cruise. I'm kind of hoping that the 2-week binge on cruise food will actually help me get past my plateau -- once I get back down to it again! I have lost the first 2 pounds of the cruise gain as of this morning -- so that's a good sign.

I did fine last year during the holiday season -- and am expecting I'll be OK this year. I'm not buying any Halloween candy since my neighborhood doesn't have many trick-or-treaters. (I was in Italy last year on Oct. 31 -- so it was very easy to skip the candy aisle leading up to Halloween.)

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

HI girls I'm new here but excited to visit with you. I am glad you got home in one piece from your cruise. We took one a couple years ago and had a great time. I need some motivation to exersize. Any Ideas to make walking more fun!
