I have a couple requests if you all get a chance to pray a bit. DH found out that there will be a maintenance opening at his plant-they're adding a job as the current maintenance man seems to be 'unable to keep up with such a heavy workload'---if he would get his butt out of the office and his feet off the desk, he would be able to, but he also has been promoted to a job beyond his skill level, so he just doesn't do it. Anyway, this is the job DH has wanted for many years, but is unsure about having to work with this current employee every day, so he needs prayer that he would know whether to even apply for the job and, if offered, whether he should take it.

Also, lift up a few prayers for a classmate/teammate of DS3. In the football game on Saturday (had to be postponed from Friday due to lightning), Levi broke his leg very badly. He had surgery Saturday afternoon/evening, involving a plate, screws, and cadaver bone to repair-it had been completely dislocated at the knee with a compound break of the fibula. He's home from the hospital and can return to school on Wednesday in a wheelchair, but will need prayer for complete healing. He used to go to youth group with our DS, but has fallen off, so maybe this will be something that will motivate him to return.

THANKS TO GOD & EVERYONE HERE -- our trip and the tests all went well today. We left extra-early as I couldn't sleep anyways; whenever I know I have early appts., I have trouble sleeping becuz I know that I have to get up. It is kind of an internal alarm clock; good thing for that, as the desk alarm didn't go off like it was supposed to.

BARGOO -- PRAYERS your Cat Scan will have good results too (all clear); I did mine and my blood lab tests today. PRAISE & THANK GOD for the safe trip there and back today!!! I see the doctor next Thursday (the 17th) for the results. I hope that I sleep better tonight, esp if DH stops snoring so much; I will encourage him to sleep on his side, as he doesn't snore as much that way.

RONNIE -- prayers going up for LEVI for both comfort and a quick healing; and for your DH concerning this job opportunity.

PRAYER REQUEST: for SANDY, my sister's SIL from her first marriage and the kiddies' aunt. She is in a coma right now and the doctors feel she has no brain activity. They think she had a stroke just after dinner last night. Prayers needed for her sons and all the family (esp the young ones: nieces and nephews, who are taking this hard). Aunt Sandy is only in her fifties and this is the second sister in the same family to go young (when & if GOD decides to take her home, that is). Another sister, Brenda passed from a heart attack doing a stress test; a real shocker for the whole family. PRAYERS for COMFORT AND PEACE FOR ALL is greatly appreciated right now; thanks, warriors!

I was wrong when I said I was going to have a CAT Scan, I am actually going to have a PET Scan. I will have that Friday this week.

BARGOO -- Yes, I had the CAT Scan and the blood tests done on Monday; so we wait until next Thursday, the 17th for the results (we see the oncologist/ doctor and his team at that time). Thanks for your prayers; we're praying your PET Scan goes well and that you'll have good results too ... :hug:

THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR AUNT SANDY -- they took Sandy off life support yesterday, and she passed away today. WE thank GOD for his mercy & grace for Sandy and her family. Prayers for peace & comfort for her sons (families); and all her nieces & nephews & siblings, etc who loved her so.

PRAYER REQUEST : for my sister & BIL. Two satellite companies have ripped them off in the last 1-2 years. First, SHAW, took $800.00 in monthly services charges when they had no house (remember, it had burnt in a fire); even though, they were told right away to cease the service becuz the house was gone. They refuse to credit them their money and the workers just say ... "too bad". I will never hook my satellite up on my house becuz of all of this.

Another company "XPLORENET" left their dish on a rented house they lived in; and even though they were told that if they wanted the dish they''d better come and get it as the house was being sold (they said "no problem, we'll come and get it" but they didn't). They still haven't gone and taken it off the house.

We believe they are just mad that the new owner didn't sign up with them so they want it back. Instead of contacting the new owner of the house, they are harassing my sister & BIL who were just temporary renters over 2 YEARS AGO to pay for the dish (which is still on the house). This is ridiculous. All satellite companies I know of either leave the dish there or just go get it, if they want it.

Long story short, they claim they sent a bill to the creditors even though they don't owe them anything for anything, as the account was PIF and closed over 1.5 years ago (the LORD put it on my heart that this all may be a bluff). SHAW already took their money and won't give it back (calls have no effect); and XPLORENET says that my BIL has to go get the dish for them or pay for it! WHAT??? Please pray that GOD will show them what (if anything) they should do in these two situations.


ANOTHER URGENT REQUEST: apparently DH went for a walk without telling anyone he was going; please pray BIL will find him quickly. THANKS!!! EDIT2ADD: THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS: BIL found him down the road after my DAD spotted DH, and told him where he was; praise GOD!

PRAYER REQUEST -- sheesh, when it rains, it pours. Pour BIL is so upset right now as he keeps receiving threats from his inherited annuity company that if his X-wife (who wanted the divorce many years ago) is not taken off the policy, they will stop paying out his trust completely (it really shouldn't be an issue as she wouldn't receive the trust unless he dies (or so we thought); that is how it was set up in the policy (or so I was told). I will look into the details more closely as he may be misinformed.

They will not tell him why they keep doing this; every time he thinks it is settled they send another letter with more threats. MY GOD, what is going on here? Unresolved issues that need addressing perhaps? They have suffered a continuous ripple of financial blows lately; one after another after another. Please pray mostly for his peace of mind; as he is taking this way too hard.

YES, I do believe Satan is attacking him becuz he is such a great Christian witness. This man tell everyone he meets (and I mean everyone) about his faith in JESUS; he so wants everyone to know GOD and go to heaven. Pray for a special grace right now until this issue is resolved "permanently" this time, please. THANKS WARRIORS ... :hug:

Prayers sent for your Aunt Sandy's family to feel the Lord's comfort and peace, and for your BIL and sister to have these crazy issues resolved with the satellite companies and the annuity company.

I just want to praise the Lord right now for prayers answered by Him for me this week- on Wednesday I briefly left a plate on the counter with cat food on it while I went into the other room. My dog jumped up to get the cat food, knocked the plate off the counter, and consumed the cat food and a bunch of glass shards. Initially the vets were talking surgery and I was just feeling terrible- I felt like my dog would have to suffer significant pain and major surgery because of my carelessness. The vets came up with another solution (involving feeding my dog cotton balls, no less) and as of today it appears she has passed all the glass out of her system without surgery. This is a miracle to me- not only for my dog but also for my bank balance. So I just thought I would post this up because I am so grateful. I know God answers our prayers.

THANKS, for all your prayers, DEE -- and PRAISE GOD for that wonderful idea that helped your furry baby and you. GOD knows our needs and helps us with both the little and big things in life!!! :angel:

I really believe GOD wants us to do what we can (or should do), then leave the rest in HIS or someone else's capable hands. :D

PRAYER REQUEST PLEASE -- could you pray that this flu leaves DH & I quickly; it hurts just to breathe, but it is a bit better today (can't walk very fast or I have trouble catching my breathe). My muscles are hurting a lot, so I may take a light pain pill (Tylenol) to help with that. Those are the three worst symptoms for me presently; I am hoping to feel much better before I go to see my doctor this Thursday -- thanks friends, I really need them ... :hug:

THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS THAT MY FLU WILL GO AWAYS QUICKLY AND COMPLETELY (DH'S TOO); and will not develop into pneumonia.

DH also needs some prayers to have peace while we are here (he says he wants to go home every day; and then at home, he says the same thing too; LOL). It's the condition but sometimes he gets ornery on me, so maybe next time, I won't bring him. I think I'll save up the money to put him into care instead, as it is not fair to me or my family to have to put up with all this added stress. (EDIT2ADD: BIL says not2worry; that DH is doing so much better now; so we just have to find ways to distract him, and that is working for us (plus I thought he had his meds already and he hadn't & that was remedied).

It's funny this time, he doesn't argue with them; just me. The wife always gets the crap, don't they? Like I need it right now -- I really don't! So pray that JESUS will be my patience and strength for the rest of the week until we go back home (which I need an extra dose of when I am sick). I am just so disappointed becuz normally he is so calm with his new meds; and everyone noticed the positive difference (well, it doesn't cure everything ;)).

We all wondered how he would react to being somewhere else again (away from home, I mean). I guess that will always be something he will have a hard time adjusting to: new places & situations, even though he was here before and remembers it too. He says, "I just don't understand why I have to be here". So I have to keep telling him why several times a day.

Prayers sent. I hate how the evil one is on the attack right now with health, money, stresses, etc. I pray that God binds Satan's hands & voice.

A couple praises-Levi is doing well & graduated to crutches within a couple days instead of having to use a wheelchair at school. DS3's hand seems to be improving, but still has some pain and swelling, so still praying that the break heals with no lasting effects.

A couple requests-another friend of DS3, who is now a college freshman, has been having heart problems. He hid the pain from everyone while he was wrestling in high school, but it got too bad in the last few weeks. He's having tests today, but the family won't find out results until next week (probably). His name's Bryce and he's a good kid-really hoping they find the problem quickly and can fix it easily. He's got a wrestling scholarship for college.

Also, in the feast or famine category-my sister and her husband may be coming this weekend for a short visit (they had to move back to IL temporarily due to her insurance issues) and, right after they called, DH's mother called and said she and DH's sister may be coming Friday night for the football game and maybe stay overnight. I hate to say it, but I'd really rather that DH's family not come, as the sister might have an agenda and we just really don't need that stress.

THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR DH AND I -- he is doing better; turns out he hadn't taken his meds (I thought he had). Then we distracted him with some comedy TV and he is doing better. BIL says not2worry, he is doing so much better; just ignore his requests to go home as he says that all the time. We are using distraction techniques to deal with him today, and he is now doing better (he is eating his lunch presently and that always helps).

RONNI -- that is exactly why I shared that song (above); others agree that we are indeed being attacked and stressed to our max. Prayers gone up for BRYCE that the doctors will find the cause of his heart issues, and the best treatments, so that he can live out his dream wrestling scholarship. Also, prayers that your son's hand heals up quickly & completely with no more pain. YES, you will have your hands full with all that family there; prayers going up that all will go well in that situation ... :hug:

PRAISE GOD & THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS -- the annuity issue was a misunderstanding (which is what I thought); a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing (too many hands in the pot). They asked for some divorce documentation less than a month ago, but it turns out it was the wrong one; AND, this worker assumed that since they are divorced, that BIL would want her off the annuity as a benefactor (which wasn't so). He doesn't care what happens after he dies, as long as he gets to keep it while he is alive which is his right. :lol:

I have a prayer request for Tony's and my DGD Hannah Sherman who is now 11 years old is experiencing what most adults never see. For the past several years she has complained of joint and back pain. It has now progressed into a serious stage that has revealed three herniated disks in her back, overall pain for a massive body-wide inflammation affecting all of her body from her fingers to her toes. A recent MRI has not ruled out rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus or a possible immune system disorder. She can only take Tylenol which doesn’t help raise her pain threshold or get to the root of the problems. She prays for relief and then tells her mother that she wonders why she still hurts so much. We talked to her on Skype Sunday afternoon and she told me that her back still hurts "really bad".

With all that is going on with our healthy care problems here in America, her Mom had to drop her insurance for the family because it was $1,000 dollars a month and the deductible was in the thousands. She couldn't afford it as her DH has never gone full time on the job they moved to FL for him to take. So she has the full load financially. She is in the process of trying to get the kids on a state health plan they have.

Last night DD wrote on Facebook that she was so stressed that she feels lost. I text her to see if anything new had happened. Besides Hannah's problems, the oldest DGD has her leg in a cast from a paintball injury a few weeks ago, her DH has been in severe pain with his shoulder, and then last Thursday they found out the places on Jaxxon's legs that they thought were from some kind of insect bite is the Chickenpox. She wrote me and told me that she is so overwhelmed with all the sickness and her new job that praises her work, but complains because they don't want her working overtime to get all her paper work done at the end of the day. She said she had cried out to God for him to help her, but she just feels so stressed alone.

You know when they lived here, I felt her DH was not a really responsible worker and I had hoped I was wrong, but I don't think I am. This girl has health problems of her own. I asked her if she had gotten the injection for her neck. She told me "I'm so busy with everyone else, I haven't had time".
If they had stayed here in town, we could have helped ease some of the pressure, but now she is so far away.

The baby Jaxxon has been diagnosed Autistic, but he is in school. He will get over the chickenpox. BTW he had his shots, but is categorized as being in the 1% who gets it any way and the oldest DGD leg will heal. Richard evidently got his shoulder taken care of. But April and Hannah need lots of prayer... they need a miracle.

Thanks Rosebud. I pray that your nephew's situation will not be too serious. I pray that God will take this bad situation and turn it to good by bringing this young man to his senses, that it will be a wake up call for him. It is sad that some have to go through these things to grow up.

Also please pray for my beautician/friend Bernadine and her family. Their Daddy passed away 8 months ago and their Mother is in hospice now. The cancer in her leg has spread all over her body and she is dying. Tells her kids that she doesn't want to die and that she isn't going to. Don't know how you handle that. On top of that the only brother has caused problems by having their Daddy do a tape giving everything to him. Bernadine finally got to see the tape and it isn't legal. Her Daddy didn't know what he was doing (had dementia). Bernadine is the only one of the 4 kids who has tried to bring peace in the situation for the sake of her Mother and has told her sisters that she isn't going to do anything about it or talk about it to her Mother. So she needs a lot of prayer as she tries to work, drive 4 hrs to be with her Mom and hold things together. So she needs prayer for lots of wisdom and strength. I sent her the song you shared yesterday Rosebud and she really appreciated it. Also, may be a small thing to some, but she didn't get there in time to see her Daddy before he died. Please pray with me that she will be able to be there with her Mom when she passes away. She has mentioned this to me so many times so I know it is important to her. Thanks.

UPDATE on my sister's/BIL's car: turns out it was WATER that was in the gas that man sold us; it must have been a lot of water to stop the car up like that. The mechanic says now the problem is how to get that water out of the car (fuel-injection) so it will run again. Oh dear ... more prayers needed there.

So we will have to use the small, older car for my appts tomorrow (to get the results of my other tests; we pray that they will come out clear). Please pray that we make it there and back safely please. I still have this terrible flu: my muscles hurting badly and the short breathing when walking are still my biggest problems. Need more prayers on that for sure!!! Prayers my lungs stay clear with no pneumonia; THANKS, friends!

BARGOO may be at one of her son's places right now; one other time she fell, they came and got her so they could take care of her. I wouldn't be surprised if they did that again. PRAYERS continue for her for good health & healing in every area of her life ... :hug:

PLEASE PRAY for a safe trip to the city for the results of my Cat Scan and other tests; we have to use their older back-up car so we pray for a good trip there and back. I feel better today: still have some hurting muscles (can't take meds until after the checkup as that masks a fever); and the breathing issue is better as long as I walk like a snail. We are praying my lungs are clear with no pneumonia (if the doctors are concerned, they will check that out today).

I just had a nice shower and that made me feel a bit better; just waiting to go now. Have a great day everyone ... :hug:

I went to the doctor yesterday as a follow up for some bizarre (seemingly unrelated) symptoms. She ran tests on me for neurological (mostly balance and hand/eye coordination tests), heart, and then for adrenal fatigue. She says she believes I have adrenal fatigue due to having 3 illnesses this year and some major life stress. She put me on a supplement to help, plus I am supposed to increase my exercise and my sleep. I'm praying that this diagnosis is correct and that the supplements she put me on will help, and that I'll have enough self-discipline to do the additional exercise and go to bed earlier.

Rosebud What a terrible thing to happen to your BIL car. Hope they will be able to fix it. Praying for safe trip to doctor and for good test results and that lungs are clear and recovery from flu quickly. Glad you are feeling a little better. I pray the meds DH is taking will keep him calm while away from home as well. Thanks for sharing with me about Bargoo. I pray she is better and back to us on here soon.

Thanks for the prayers for Bernadine. She had to cancel all her appts today because her Mom is unresponsive and they have started a drip. I'm sorry that her Mom is worse, but glad that she got there. I am praying the Lord will use this to bring her children closer instead of pulling them apart. I told Bernadine that I think that her brother is scared because he is the youngest and he has never been married. I think he is scared of being alone. I just hope that they will all find that they need to be there for each other.

I go for my visit with my oncologist tomorrow for results of PET Scan, I do not expect good results ,Rosebud I hope everything was OK with your scan,

Sad news for Rosebud......
Prayers for a miracle desperately needed for my special sister....this is Numpster posting on behalf of Rosebud as she was hospitalized yesterday as her health is suffering.
Okay, it`s hard to share this but Rosebud has stage 4 cancer; it is in her liver and lungs. She received this news yesterday at her appointment. She is so ill they wouldn`t let her leave the hospital. They are trying to improve her health so that she can start chemo therapy on Monday.
The issue with her breathing is due to her lungs being half full of fluids. She may have had a flu but with the diagnosis it is likely due to the cancer.
She has asked that I share this news with all of you and requested prayers, prayers, prayers.
We visited her last evening and she was in good spirits and resting well.
I will keep you posted as often as I can. She may be in the hospital for a while. We really do not know how long.

Bargoo, may I first start off saying how sorry we are for the news you received. We will pray God`s Blessings on you for health, healing and strength. You are a brave lady and we pray the chemo will have great success. Remember God will be with you through it all.

Too all of you, thank you for your prayers, you mean so much to Rosebud and she continues to pray for each and every one of you!
Update:
Another day has gone by and we visited Rosebud again last evening.
Please know she is in good spirits and is resting and relaxing as best she can. They ran a lot of tests on her yesterday including a biopsy of her liver. Not sure when she will get the results of it since we`ve run into the weekend. She is on antibiotics to see if that will help her lungs. They have her on a regiment of pain medication which is helping her to feel better. She is happy that they are making her comfortable. Our visit was around 3 hours and we spent a lot of time chatting and laughing. Her laugh is infectious. She is actually helping us to keep positive and have strength. At the end of our visit, we all laid hands on her in prayer.
I will continue to keep you posted as things progress and know that we will keep all of you in our prayers too!
