Yes, BARGOO ~ sending up ^prayers^ for the 59 injured people in Aurora, Colorado; all young too, ranging from 4 months to 45 years old; plus for the families of those 12 that were killed. What a travesty -- may GOD bless the doctors, surgeons, and medical staff as they try to help them all.

GOOD NEWS UPDATE ~ just wanted to share a little good news today -- our nephew, Raymond, graduated in the RCMP today. Thanks for all your prayers for him. Here's a picture of him in his uniform ...

congrats! that is quite the uniform. what is that for? I don't recognize the RCMP or what that stand for

NELLY ~ RCMP stands for ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE. That is their official uniform, but I think they may have other ones that they use day to day like other police forces do (black uniforms I think; I'm not sure, but so far it's the only one I have seen). They esp like to wear these in parades and public displays; and they ride horses too (hence, the mounted part). I think they look quite dashing myself ... :D


BARGOO ~ Raymond's mom said that at his graduation, he had a grin from ear to ear throughout the ceremony, he was so happy. He said the training was intense but he was a career soldier and in great shape (he likes to run), so I think that helped him a lot too.

Congratulations to your nephew!! That is quite the honor!!! I'll bet your buttons are popping and they should be!!

As a young girl I thought there was no one more dashing and handsome as a RCMP.....in that beautiful uniform of course.

Prayer requests for myself as I get an MRI today and the results. Because of my CT scan results my doctor requested an MRI.

also...

My beautiful 2.5 month old little niece, Skyleigh, will be seeing a specialist on July 2...she may be blind and deaf...this is very sad for our family...and difficult as we have my 2 GRANDdaughter's healthy and thie little cousin may not be.

We may not always like what the Lord is allowing to happen in our lives here on earth, but oh my! we sure will love the day we see Him!

Gary , I will be praying that the results of the MRI all come out in your favor. Praying for that precious baby Skyleigh and her parents at this trying time.

I have a request-we found out that our oldest son (my step-son) and his wife have separated. We were not told this, but he's been diagnosed as bi-polar and refuses to take any meds. She can't take it anymore, so she moved out. We were told this by our granddaughter while they've been visiting this week. I'm very familiar with the bi-polar issue as that's what my mom was diagnosed with when I was small, so I understand how our DIL feels. We were told DS1's mother has this as well. So, my prayers are for him to grow up and either get a 2nd opinion or become compliant and that they can work out their issues. The older 2 grandkids have already been through one divorce and none of the 4 grandkids need this kind of stress.

Ronni, praying for you step son, bi polar is very difficult to live with. I pray that he might realize it is best for him and his family to take his meds. Praying for the children as they try to cope with the changes going on that are no fault of theirs.

Gary, I have found that the longer the wait, the better the news. When the news is not so good it seems they just can't wait to tell you.Actually that is a good thing if necessary to start treatment. I will still keep you in prayer that all will be well.
