  • Does anyone know if it is better to eat before workout in the morning so you burn more fat or eat so your not so hungry after workout? Which is better to burn more fat?
  • It is really hard to not pay attention to the scale but I put it in the car to have handy for our ladies group weigh ins at the gym on wednesdays. I am happy to not be able to weigh myself everyday and get depressed. I asked my son if he saw a difference today as I was looking in the mirror and he said, "yes, I see it in your waist." I was so happy!!
  • yeah I'm stayin off the scale myself until I can see a noticable difference. I'ma just stay consistent with my eating and exercise.

    todays exercise
    *60 min walk*
  • Hiya all! I've been MIA since vacation in September. (Costa Rica was fabulous, but I've been totally derailed ever since, though I have luckily only gained a few pounds back.) I'm starting small but getting back in the habit of visiting 3FC - I always stay way more honest with myself when I frequent these forums.

Anyway, I just finished doing 25 minutes of brisk walking and climbing the stairs here at work.
  • I just read a great web site on eating before exercise in the morning; they have found a slight amount more fat grams burned if you don't eat before exercise in the morning, but not enough to make up more than a pound in a month compared to eating before exercise in the morning. They say it is more of a preference. I'm sticking with eating before exercise in the morning, that way I am not starving while working out or afterwards and eat the wrong things. http://www.apexfitness.com/html/nutr...rticles/toeat/ it is a great article also spoke about the intensity of the workout.

    25 min treadmill walk
