Okay, back to the routine! Today was 30 mins of spinning, 30 mins of light cycling (the instructor had to leave early, but I stayed and cycled on my own), and 1 hour of BodyPUMP.

I turn on the computer and here are you guys, reminding me that I've done NOTHING useful for DAYS! I'd better get at it here today. I guess that's what accountability is about :D

:coach: GET OUT THER SUSAN!!

Today I will bike to the gym, do arms, do some running on the dreadmill :tread: .....

Is it muggy your way Ilene? We had enormous thunder and lightening at about 5:30 this am, now the sun is out and it's sweltery!

Thanks for the boost. I'm looking forward to today really. I have mountains of laundry so my day is compartmentized into 45 or 40 minute segments ;) I should be able to plan my eating and exercise within that framework.

Good Morning! Sounds like everyone is having great workouts!

Get out there and sweat it off Susan- Even with the laundry!

I got 90 min of exercise since yesterday! 20 min threadmill 10streching (includes 50 crunches) with yoga ball and 60 aerobics this morning!

100 to go for my 620 min for May
270 abs to go! for mays goal!

We'll call it laundry circuits:)

Was away from computer for entire long holiday weekend, but was pretty active the whole time - Saturday I did my regular routine (brought my ball with me to my parents house) - 40 min cardio, 35 min stability ball. Sunday went fishing for the entire day - now, that sounds like a lot of sitting, but we were on a very steep slope, and I set myself up so that every time I needed new bait, I had to climb it...not to mention the AMAZING tricep workout that is casting a fishing line and the core work from sitting upright on that slope. So I actually ended up way MORE tired from 10 hours of fishing than from an hour of cardio.

Then I got really sick (we think it was heat exhaustion) and took Monday and Tuesday off - but was back on track today with my stability ball/cardio/abs routine.

Sorry to hear you were sick Mandalinn, but happy to hear you are feeling better...

Susan, YES it's extremely hot here but we didn't get any thunderstorms yet...

This morning I biked to the gym 2.5k did the dreadmill :tread: for 5k, then did arms (30 mins), it was so nice out I did another 18k on my bike... I feel good and thank gawd for AC...

srmb60 05-31-2006 02:08 PM

My laundry circuits were interrupted by a notice that said we had a parcel at the post office. I did not hesitate to jump in my car (with AC) and go get it.

I did bike and it was very pleasant but I think we're under a t-storm watch or warning or something.

Trying to meet all my May exercise goals in one lunch break - I was one arm workout and 200 crunches short, so I did them both. I may do another stability ball session tonight, but I'm thinking being one short on one of my goals is acceptable to me. Still, it'd be nice to know that I met ALL goals, so it may happen.

Totals for the month:
Cardio workouts >30 min - 29 (goal = 25)
Stability Ball or Resistance Sessions - 24 (goal = 25)
Upper Body Workouts - 10 (goal = 10)
Lower Body Workouts - 6 (goal = 5)
Sets of 100 Crunches - 25 (goal = 25)
Exercise Minutes: 2470 (initial goal = 1800 min, revised goal = 2400 min)

Aerobics/Body Sculpt class 70 minutes

harrypotterybarn 05-31-2006 11:19 PM

Didn't come anywhere near my goals for the month, but at least I made it to an hour spinning class and BodyPUMP today. Ah well, next month: more realistic goals!!
