This might should weird but you might have chemical in you skins that disturbs the mechanics of the ped. A good friends of might carries a high amount of some mineral in her skin that interfers with watches. No matter what, they break after a month and her skin eats gold so its only platnium for her. Her doctor ran some test and I think she had a really high amount of alklines that's not harmful she just can't wear gold or small mechnics. |

I've got 2.5 miles to add to today's total. I wanted to get out there because I don't know if I'll get much walking done tomorrow. We're supposed to have some thunderstorms. I don't have a pedometer so I can't really do my inside walking. Maybe my mom has one laying around the house. Anyways, this is really great. I'm so glad I joined.

I don't have any miles to add, this heel thing is really kicking my rear, but I will be back out there tomorrow morning. I did actually work out today, but no walking/running/blading to add.. Great job everyone! I hope that I can add at least a mile or two tomorrow.

I was going to get it off eBay but for some reason they are saying my password is bad (it isn't) and the Help section couldn't respond for 24 hours sheesh! Start, wow I hope that is not the case with my not being able to use a pedometer! I do have allergies to metal and can't wear much regular jewelry at all. Hopefully the Omron will solve the problem! And LOL Stephanie, yah this group is on the move!!! :) Greetings to all... I would respond individually but have a bad case of the crud LOL. |

Hey I think it is normal if our mileage starts to slow down a bit... LOL we kicked this thing off at an "insane" pace LOL. I couldn't believe I managed to do my walking today even though I felt so bad! At lunch I walked to Home Depot and got a "broomstick" for a pole to do my exercises with. I also found a horrible picture that someone took of me a while back that I am saving for a "before" picture although I don't know I will ever get the nerve to post it LOL. Also, I thought of one friend I can get to take pictures of me on a monthly basis or so, so I can have progress pix. I am not embarrassed to ask her to do it! :) |

Well....
I definitely did better today. I actually got up a bit before 5 and let the doggies out, and then walked 2 miles. That will be all that I get in today, as I am going to do my BL workout, and my kids have hockey practice tonight. So:

I didn't walk on the mill yesterday but attended my yoga class. I'll log some miles in this afternoon.

Miles: 7.5 miles TOTAL: 32.75 Sorry I haven't been using this format. I must have missed that note, too! I will TRY to remember for the future! I hit my 1000 minutes of cardio for March last night! I am so proud of myself! I'm almost to 70 miles for the month (I've had to increase my goal 3 times!)! And I'm within 20 miles of beating my mileage for the ENTIRE year of 2005! With all this walking, you'd think the pounds would be coming off. I've lost 9 pounds since Jan 1 and NOTHING for a couple of weeks. I can tell that my pants are a bit looser, but I want that number on the scale to change! I want to be in ONEDERLAND!!! Anyway....have a great Thursday! Michele :wave: |
Wow, Michele, 7.5 miles, that is awesome!! One-derland is not far off for you but I can see why it would be discouraging not to be getting there faster with all you are doing! Bet you are building all kinds of muscle and that is why the weight loss is not showing up on the scale!!
