Hey! Wait for me! :D (Puff puff puff, as I run to catch up) I've got to go get my pedometer today, but I'll toss in my steps/mileage as soon as I can. I wish yardwork counted for miles... :snail:

I should cue up the Aerosmith on my iPod whilst I dig!

HealthierMe 03-25-2006 11:26 AM

Now I'm confused!

We started today, 3/25 and I get 7.7 miles (1.5 + 3.0 + 3.2), so far.

Ummmm... it CAN if you wear your pedometer while you are doing it and get steps... 2000 steps = 1 mile. I wear mine all day and count them!

Welcome Blyn and Odaley, so glad you could join us!

HealthierMe 03-25-2006 11:36 AM

Fast approaching I-90

So with Michele's 3 miles we are at 10.7, just about at I-90. Yeah, watch out for the cars, you know what they say about us massachusetts drivers, LOL:)

BlynC 03-25-2006 11:43 AM

Whew...just did 2 mile WATP for Abs also!!! 4724 steps and counting.....

Misti in Seattle 03-25-2006 11:44 AM

Thanks HM... now I have the mileage straightened out LOL. :)

Wow we are getting really close to I90! Thanks for the caution!!! Actually we would be there except I was only reporting mine in .5 increments; I actually had almost another mile but I will log that in with the next update so as not to confuse things any more LOL.

HM great advertisement!!!!

Are we adding all our miles together on this trek across the country? I'm a bit confused!

HM, I'm glad your are keeping track.. I missed an entire half mile.. shame on my math! :)

Michele.. if we weren't combining it I'd say I might get there in 4 years! Yikes!

You all might have to tug me along tomorrow... I am sooooooo sore...............

Less of Lena 03-25-2006 01:53 PM

Whew, you guys start early!!! I'm still just getting up, finishing up a great cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee :coffee2: (mmmmm mmmmm!). Man, how I've missed my Dunkin Donuts!

But, I'm being good -- I've bypassed my absolute favorite, the glazed doughnuts! Oooooo the temptation!

Anyway, my cab is just leaving Logan (airport) in Boston now. I'm assuming we'll take the tunnel and then head out along the Mass Pike (Massachusetts Turnpike, which starts in downtown Boston and is also the zero-mile marker for Route I-90!). It'll take us a bit to get to Hopedale, but I'm sure I'll catch up with you all this afternoon!

Yippee, we're on our way!

Misti in Seattle 03-25-2006 03:26 PM

LOL yah Michele I am really impressed that you had the courage to sign up thinking you had to walk all that way yourself!! :) I want to get home someday in this lifetime!! Jayde, four years is very optimistic LOL.

Hey Lena glad you are on your way... glad you had a nice flight; that was smart to take a cab. As Dee warned me (too late!) that parachute jump over Draper Field was pretty harrowing; fortunately I missed the pond!! :shocksn:
And don't worry... we will make sure to wait up for you before we get too far ahead!!!

Well I went to work at the food bank this morning... this makes me at LEAST the THIRD person on my church's teams who went on the WRONG week when it was not our turn LOLOLOL.
