I like classical songs that have been remixed as techno!

I like Shakira's faster songs... I love "whenever, wherever" and her new song "hips don't lie" is impossible NOT to dance to

Music and Exercise....I love to listen to techno, remixes, and anything that is loud and with a beat but some of my favorites are:
Cher's Remixes

Soundtracks like: The Matrix; Mortal Kombat

I like to mix it up alot.
I listen to anything and everything with a good beat. Hip hop , reggae, R&B, alternative, Whatever motivates me to move.

Example:
Dontcha - The kittycat Dolls
Pitbull - Toma
Sean Paul - Temperature
Black Eyed Peas - My humps
Nina Sky - Move your body
Ying yang twins - Shake
Elephant Man - Jook Gal
Ciara - 1,2 step
Field Mob - So what
Nelly - Flap your wings
Mariah Carey - Shake it off
Jennifer Lopez - Get right
Gwen Stefani - Rich Girl
Destiny's Child - Lose my Breath
Amerie - 1 thing
Kanye West - Workout Plan
Justin Timberlake - Signs

Hope this helps.

Karma, great list, I like a lot of your choices and some good ideas. I also like anything by Missy Elliott for running, really gets me going. And Pump it by BEP.

I have a playlist of dancing ditties on my computer which I boogie to at night by the shimmering glow of a glitterlamp.

My advice would be to exercise to the music you love. You might be flagging but then one of your all time favourites comes on and it keeps you going a few more minutes. Works for me, anyway

I love trance, pop and disco - some of my favourites include (cheese alert):
  • So Good - Rachel Stevens (125 bpm)
  • Lady - Modjo (126 bpm)
  • Can't Get You Out of my Head - Kylie Minogue (126 bpm)
  • Boogie Wonderland - Earth Wind and Fire (129 bpm)
  • Another Chance - Roger Sanchez (130 bpm)
  • Dance Yourself Dizzy - Liquid Gold (131 bpm)
  • Atomic - Blondie (135 bpm)
  • Just Around The Hill - Sash! (136 bpm)

There's a nifty website that lets you find out the bpm for tracks: http://www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htm
