Free Online Workouts

  • I've literally spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on workout videos and 'programs' and all that... none of which I've been able to stick with... (thought I am still fond of TaeBo :P). Anyways, lately... to just shake it up a bit, without actually spending any money, I've been looking around the internet to find free workouts online.

I thought I'd post some of the ones I've found that were pretty cool and was hoping that anyone who knows of others ones will post those too so we can check them out.

http://nikewomen.com/ - Has printout workouts for running (thought their beginner's workout doesn't really seem made for beginners... maybe for those who've graduated from Couh-to-5k), videos for fitness dance (brasillian, latin, rockstar), an entire video workout (w/ kickboxing, sculpting, yoga, pilates...), and some more little previews of different workouts with just a few basic moves that you can learn (forza, hip hop spin, etc.).

http://www.adidas.com - has a cool running section on their site, with articles, advice and they even have a downloadable running organizer program... but I didn't download it so I can't tell you much more. You can also download training plans for marathons... (I'm not quite at that level yet, though.)

http://www.fusionforfitness.com/articles/ - A bunch of workouts from different fitness magazines... pilates, sculpting, core work, etc.

http://www.ballyfitness.com/rapid_re..._plans/#weight - Iposted this because I know there are people here who signed up for the free Bally's membership from the Discovery channel and I heard all the complaints so far. Well, here is a workout plan for those that want to lose weight along with videos on how to use the machines. They have other workouts, too.

I thought iVillage had a bunch of general workout videos but I can't seem to find them...

Do anyone of you know of any other nifty online workouts?
  • I have tried prevention before don't know if they still post articles online.
I also like men's health. Yep. They got so many articles and eventhough it's a men's mag. the weight loss and workout sections can apply to any gender. If u can look past some of the guy articles that may pop up on the main page (similar to cosmo stuff in a counter way) then it is really good.
If u do go there click articles on the left side to get to really older articles.
Beyond that I have heard of a few for specific sports but i don't look at them cause i don't run - runnersworld, or do such activities.
I use the gazelle by the way.
