  • Yay, Rose!! Great news! Can't wait to hear what you think!
  • almostheaven, I wanted to thank you for mirror idea.....I was a bit concerned about my form...especially if I was lifting my feet up high enough, especially toward the end of the workout, and it worked out great!

And, Rose, congrats on your walkblaster...I cannot tell you guys how badly I want to get it...I'm trying to hard to justify it! I really want you guys to convince me to spend the money!

I've done so much research (including checking some out from the library) on exercise video's and I really like Leslie's the best! I got one Kathy Smith (now, please don't hate me if someone loves her) and I couldn't stop laughing..I have a 20 month old and she loved it...danced and giggled through the whole thing! It was a DVD and the copyright date was last year...I think it was older though and that was just the DVD date.....also, I wouldn't be ready for her anyway...I'm not that coordinated! I like simple but effective! I do have an exercise bike and I'm thinking of pulling it out...I just really need variety right now!

Thanks for all your posts...I'm enjoying reading them and getting more information!
  • Sorry I've been away for a while but I post from work and this is the first opportunity I've had. Anyway I love the walkblaster! It is so great! It's Leslie at her best. I don't want to encourage anyone to spend money but if you like Leslie you will like this set. Also the little hand weights fit right into your palms and are so easy to carry I just love them. So NewWay I would really consider buying them using the link that was for $39.95. Sarah how are you liking yours?
  • I love it, Rose! I still don't have the Thin and Burn DVD (or whatever it's called -- the first in the series) but I'm really enjoying the other two.....Fun and effective. And I think the music is better than in her previous workouts. Hey, how about that bouncy brunette, eh? She makes me giggle. I alternate the ramp workouts with the 1-3 mile WATP and 4-mile Challenge workouts.

I am going to get a Gin Miller ramp routine for another alternative (I hear her workouts are tougher.) Have you done any of hers?
  • Hey ladies!

I just ordered the 4-mile, and plane on doing the 1,2, and 3mile walks from the for the Abs series until I get the 4 mile tape.

Do you reall work up a sweat with that one? I'm not terribly out of shape, and I was worried that I wouldn't get a good workout with that tape. I don't feel as though I've gottne a good workout unless I sweat

I think I may buy some 3lb weights to pump up the calorie burn.

I realized today that walking is really the BEST exercise. It's simple and uncomplicated, and you get great results. My own personal challenge is to get upto walking 4-6 miles a day, 6 days a week.
  • Missqt, I've had no problem working up a sweat with any of the tapes. I make sure to do them as intensely as possible by using a mirror to make sure I'm not slacking on the moves. And I always do 3 to 4 miles. I mix up tapes, like I'll do a 2 mile and a 1 mile sometimes. I was doing a bit of everything the other day. I did the first 3 miles of the 4 mile super challenge, then 15 minutes of The Firm, and another 15 minutes of Crunch Dance Party. LOL
