Question

I have been doing weight training for awhile....but I still haven't got an answer to this question? When you are content with what you have built up and no longer want to do this type of training...how much weight is enough for staying toned??? I was thinking of buying a 24 pound body bar to just maintain what I have toned??? Is this enought????

I'm not 100 % positive, but from what I recall, you should use the heaviest weights you can with perfect form, as you've been doing. The difference between staying the same and "improving" is that you now only need to do your full body ST 2 times per week, instead of 3.

I don't think you can really anticipate how strong you will be when you reach goal. Everyone is different and everyone has different strength needs/goals. You may find that 24lbs is too light or too heavy.

Why not wait and decide about maintainance when you reach your goal?
