Sandi, I have the 4 mile Express tape and it is much lower impact than when I was on the treadmill. I usually walked 3.5 miles an hour, if you need something to compare by. In the 4 mile tape, she does a lot of leg lifts that are low impact and not as many steps as in walking, but more effective on the muscles. So less moves, more effect.
I had done a 1 mile tape in the past and it seemed similar to the one I have now, just shorter.
Rose, what would be Leslie's most intense tape? Is there a video more intense than the 4 Mile Super Challenge?
Diana, I have a question about the Picture in Picture - Do you do this? I tried it today and couldn't get it to work. I am wondering if it is possible to do with a VCR. My VCR runs in on channel 4 and the cable goes in on channel 3, so I may not be able to pick up both signals. Does your PIP work with a VCR?
Jennifer,
Sorry for the late reply. The only other 4 mile that is more of a challenge is her old video from 1980 called 4 weight loss walk. I think that's the name of it. Here is a link to it. http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/prod.cg...1877&meta_id=3
She does allot of different moves and it's faster paced but the outfits are out of style. But it's worth a try!
Rose--
Hello!! I see that you have almost all of the Leslie Sansone videos. Even though she seriously gets on my nerves, I'm thinking of getting a couple more of her videos because I see some serious changes on the scales when I use them regularly. Here are the ones I'm thinking of getting and I'd love some feedback on them.
I'm looking at the 10-Minute Tone Up that you mentioned, as well as WATP for Abs (I already have the 1, 2, and 3 mile regular videos, is there much difference between them? Could I get away with just getting one of the WATP for Abs videos?), and Shortcuts (the toning videos for upper, lower, and abs).
I'd love to hear your opinions of any of these. Also, are there are lot of lunges in any of these videos? I hate lunges, LOL.
Jess, I have the 4 Mile Express Tape, and there are NO lunges. I imagine the 1-3 mile tapes are basically the same moves. The music is pretty good for video music, also.
Rose, thanks for that info on the other 4 mile tape! I think I will stick with the one I have. If I have to watch it for an hour, I'm sure to get tired of the older one. It would be fun to see some of them from the old days, though! Are you big on exercise videos in general, or just Leslie Sansone?

And I don't have any tapes at all or a treadmill. but Walking I do.
I work for the DOD and we can't park inside the CIA so I park a long distance from my shop. also, at lunch time I go out and walk all the way to my husbands office and bring salad and we have lunch together, then I walk all the way back. it rains a lot here this time of year but I love the rain. I think its important to walk far enough to get your heart rate up, and I am a fast walker. When I go shopping or what ever, I always park far far away, and that gives me extra walking. I just think its good to walk as much and as often as possible. I don't need good weather or a partner, I just go.
well I have been getting more and more attached to the WATP ( i have the for abs one) thinking about picking up some more. she is cheesy but for someone who can be so lazy these work perfect for me.
Do you have to order WATP online, or can you get at Wal-mart or Target? My mom ordered it online and never got it. They took her money, but she never got the product.
No, you don't need a treadmill. They are designed for regular walking in place, but you'd be surprised at how much energy you can use for that. Just put on your shoes and stand in front of the TV. She does leg lifts and side steps and arm lifts. It is super easy, meaning you don't need balance or dance skills. I bought my 4 Mile Express tape at Target and it was $9.99. They sell them just about everywhere.
