So back in the day I grew to love the gym for a while, and was going like twice a day.
That was a few years ago and I'm about 80 lbs heavier. I know exercise is essential to mental well being and fitness, if not necessarily weight loss. But I know that being the weight I am, I need to start small. Thinking of doing the elliptical for an hour straight as I once did is like "no way!"
Is it alright to just try to incorporate something that by most wouldn't even be considered "exercise"
This is embarrassing but until I lose a bit I'm actually kind of concerned about injuring myself trying something too active.
Moving your body any way you can most certainly counts!
I was about your weight (but much shorter) when I started this mission a few years ago. Walking to my mailbox and back was hard. But slowly and surely I built up my stamina and now I can walk miles and miles.
We all have to start somewhere. And your dog will love the walks too!
Yup just walking is good. There's also a very light impact video called walk away the pounds that's pretty helpful too and you don't have too move around too much.
