All righty, 3FCers...before I go to bed on my last night as a 32-year-old (bahahaha!) I have a question for you all.
I've been totally wanting a Fitbit for ages now. I'm a bit obsessed with techy gadgets anyway (hence the fact that I have a WW pedometer and a Polar FT7 heart rate monitor). But the thing is: since I started calorie counting instead of point counting (I find it more useful now that I have begun running), I barely use my WW pedometer, because I don't need to know the points. I have been using it a bit more lately, since I do like to know the number of steps I take on a daily basis. I would love to be able to track the actual number of calories I burn on a daily basis...and needless to say, the HRM isn't exactly suited to all-day use.
I'm also, I have to admit, intrigued by the idea of having my sleep analyzed. (I know it's probably not *dead-on*, but still.)
So. I am toying with the idea of buying one for myself as a birthday present. *L* I'm leaning toward the One, simply because the sleep feature intrigues me. And I love the idea that the Fitbit "talks" to SparkPeople and MFP, too.
I'm leaving it to you guys to convince me (or not....*L*) Do you love the Fitbit? Do you find it motivates you to be more active? Or is it just another overpriced fad?
And......GO!
