I ran the 10K this weekend, even though technically it was against my Dr's advice. My ankle only got a little sore at the very end, and it felt fine after. I knew I was missing running, but OMG, I didn't even realize how much. I mentally felt sooo much better after the race. I also got a
PR, which is always nice.
I'm still going to take it easy this week, maybe get 2-3 MAX runs in and hit the pool more to balance it out. I've got a race coming up June 8. It's just a 5k, so I could walk it if I need to. I'm traveling to do it with friends though, so I want to feel good for it. Plus marathon training is rapidly approaching, and I don't want to risk further injury.
