Default Exercise classes...need suggestions :)

Hi! I have mentioned in posts before that I'm not a huge fan of conventional exercise. I have seen in a few posts different exercise classes that people have tried that I have never even heard of. I was wondering if people could give me suggestions on things to try as an absolute beginner. I've never done any type of class before, so I would love to try something new and see if I really enjoy it. I'm thinking about trying a Trampoline class or maybe yoga? I know nothing about any of these classes, so if anyone has advice I would love it!!

I don't know about where you live, but here we have leisure centers throughout the city that offer all sorts of beginner classes. Aqua boxing, Aqua Zumba, Beginner yoga etc. I would start by checking out what kind of leisure centers you have in your area and what they have to offer. Some may even let you try a class for free! Any class that will let you drop in could be a good way to start too, that way you get to try a little bit of everything without having to commit. Good luck

My best advice is to just try it out yourself... What one person will love, another will hate... Try it once, then decide...

We have a Group Power class at our gym that I and wouldn`t miss for the world...

I would say try out a class or two as well. I did $5 a class Zumba up to 5 times a week in January and February before I joined the YMCA. Now, I'm taking a bunch of different classes and love the variety. I love classes. I had never taken one till January though. I'm not even an outgoing confident type person either. Also, I'm quite uncoordinated I like to be in the back row next to a wall...

Edited to say that I started Zumba as a beginner. I used to be in shape but hadn't been for quite some time. I was sore for a while but eventually not so much. q

I am a big fan of classes, they really motivate me.

I like all the Les Mills classes I've tried, Body Pump, Body Step, and Sh'Bam in particular.

I also like to do Zumba, Cardio Hip Hop, and Cardio Funk.
