I can't believe my half marathon is this weekend! I am excited and scared.
On Saturday, I did the "Finish Chelsea's Run" 5K (named for a girl who was raped and killed in San Diego on her run. Super sad cause and I wish we didn't have to run for it). Because I knew it was going to be a much shorter run, I increased the intensity and it nearly killed me but I was running 11 minute miles -- which is fast for me. I ran to and from the event to get almost 6 miles that day.
I ran today (4.5) and I will run on Thursday and then no running until Sunday. At least that's what I'm told I should do.
