HI, how are you? I want to start running. I have been telling myself to get up and do it, but then I give myself excuses to NOT run or even go on a walk. I used to run or jog often, but then stopped, and stopped all exercise. I put on a few pounds, and then a few more pounds, and then a few more pounds. So now I have to get back into exercising and dieting, or watching what I eat. I just don't know where to begin.
Yesterday I went out for a walk, only about 1 mile. And today, as soon as the rain stops I was going to head out on another walk.
How did you guys get started? I think If I can try to start off by walking, then I can gradually get into running.
Do you think it would be better to walk for a few weeks and then try to jog.
