Default Heavy lifting on very little sleep

Good afternoon, everyone!

I have developed a fairly good lifting routine that I'm comfortable doing. I understand that it's important for your body to get rest time to rejuvenate, and so I only lift 3 days a week. However, life is super hectic right now, and as a result, I have slept less than four hours since Sunday night, and Sunday was the last day I lifted. I planned on lifting again tonight, but am worried that without sleep, my muscles haven't healed from the last time I lifted.

Any thoughts? I want to choose wisely, but I'm loathe to lose my momentum of consistent lifting.

I think this is one of those "wait and see" things. How do you feel? If you feel you can lift, give it a shot. If during your workout you don't feel all that great then stop or lighten your weights.

I've lifted on very little sleep before and been fine. Other times I haven't been fine. I just listen to my body

Perfect! I will head to the gym this afternoon then, and we'll see. At worst, I'll do a bit of cardio. =)
