Default On Demand- ExerciseTV

I'm sure I'm just way behind on this but just discovered it under the Sports and Fitness section. There are a lot of great work outs, including yoga, pilates, abs, dancing, tons!

I'm so excited to explore them more! I did a Jane Fonda walking work out tonight, it was about 30 mins and was feeling the burn. Then, a 10 min. ABC's of hip hop work out, and just a few mins of yoga.

I wasn't even planning on exercising, just flipping around and ended up getting a nice little work out in Hopefully that will happen more often.

Anybody else take advantage of the exercise tv section of on demand? I noticed a lot of stuff was expiring today and other stuff was labeled New, so it seems like there's good variety.

I have found I can get Exercise TV on Hulu as well....they just have series rather than the individual workouts, but I am going to start one this week sometime. The great thing about those workouts is many are just 10 or 15 minutes long so you can do them when you're in a crunch for time and give your heart rate a good lift.

Yes! When I first started wanting to get serious about losing weight, that's where I started. It was perfect because I could just get my feet wet so to speak and it didn't matter how much I struggled since I was just in my living room! And I seriously struggled! There are so many great options on there too. I had never heard of Jillian Michaels, had no idea who she was, but ended up picking one of her workouts to start out with. I mean, she looked pretty legit and she wasn't Kim Kardashian- I had NO CLUE what I was in for! However, I've been hooked on working out (and Jillian) ever since!

This is kind of a birdwalk, but after a couple weeks of 30 DS, someone in my house had the TV on in the background and I heard this voice on a commercial and had this weird gut reaction, like something awful must be coming! I grabbed the remote, rewound and it was Jillian on a commercial for Biggest Loser- no wonder her workouts were so hard! This was like fall of 2009 and I had literally never seen the show!

Purplefirefly- Yes, I love that I can do a few different, shorter work outs, it keeps it interesting.

Tuende- That's impressive, I have specifically avoided her work outs purely for the intimidation factor. I'm not super athletic or coordinated but it's probably not as bad as I'm building it up to be either. Maybe I'll give it a try sometime.

Oh don't be too impressed . I was just totally ignorant of Jillian's ability to bring the pain. On that note...you should try one of her workouts! I bet it won't be as bad as you think. Let your inner athlete emerge- you'll feel like a bada$$ after!
