Default Third Week at 263 lbs!

This is week number 3 at 263. I've increased my exercise some. It's not like I don't feel like it's a work out. It's been getting easier, but I still sweat at it. Why have I've been stuck at 263? I thought a plateu is when you do your work outs but your body has gotten so used to it that it's easy.

A "true" plateau is when your bodyfat % drops to very low percentage and your fat loss stalls in excess of 3 weeks...

At 263 you should dropping at least 1-2 lbs each week. That said, I would HIGHLY recommend you monitoring closely your daily calorie intake. Weight/fat loss is ALL about diet, exercise is only 10 % of that equation. It is possible that you could not be eating enough...or too much.

If you post a typical days meals/calories, I think you will find that the recommendations you will get will be more tailored to your "specific" needs.

i second that you are eating too much, whether you realize it or not. either track very meticulously to make sure you are hitting your calorie goal (ie WEIGH every bit lick and taste) OR if you are already sure you are tracking cals correctly, then you need to DROP your cals...... as sadi before ^^^ fat loss is about diet, also i disagree a little bit with Joyful... i believe diet is 100% of the equation.... you can very easily lose fat byt diet alone.... absolutely.... its INCREDIBLY difficult to lose anyweight by EXERCISE alone, and not monitoring food intake ( unless your a teenaged boy lol)

How much are you eating a day? Do you track calories? Mind posting a sample menu?

The first question I would ask is what are you eating? I think that to many people focus on working out when what you put in your mouth is far more important. I would start by tracking every single thing you put in your mouth. See how many cals you are eating etc.

Once I started counting calories and stayed true to my daily amount the weight falls right off. When I workout and dont really watch what I eat I hardly lose weight. GOod luck
