I agree with the previous poster. This also isn't a very good comparasion because they are basically equal. Running burn about double the cals of walking so if you want to burn the same cals as running by walking your need to double the distance. From a fitness stand point you'll get more muscle tone from running because it's higher impact on your body and your tend to flex your core while running. I personally prefer running but when I'm tired and need a break walking is great too.
In the long term even if they burn the same calories you're going to build better core/leg strength from running and improve your overall cardio fitness at a quicker clip.
Thanks guys. I was honestly just curious. I tend to run about 1.3 miles a day around my neighborhood (I clocked it with my car ;] lol ) and I feel accomplished, and it doesnt take hours out of my day. I wasn't sure if it was "enough" though, so I thought I'd ask opinions on the subject.

Do you have time to do more? Do you feel like you could do more? Then do more. Or add in some push ups and sit ups at a park or something on your route.
