Default The Bar Method

I've heard a lot about the Bar Method from celebrities. The only places the classes are offered are large cities, and I live nowhere near any of them. I looked into getting dvds, but the ones I've found are around $75. I was wondering if anyone on here had tried it or knows anyone personally who has gotten results?
Thanks!

Actually, have you tried the bar method website? She has two new DVDs that are cheaper than the original DVDs. Both are about $30 when purchased together.

I did buy the originals for like 50 bucks on ebay once. I really like the bar method and physique 57 is really good from what I hear.

I absolutely love bar-type workouts. You see results really fast if you stick with it-- even a week of doing them consistently is enough to show improvements, which is really motivating!

I have one of the new Bar Method dvds that's on the website, and wish I'd ordered both together. I also have all three of the Physique 57 dvds. I alternate the original P57 workout with the Bar Method dvd I have. P57 is fun and incredibly challenging, but I'd actually suggest starting with the Bar Method to learn the essentials. Sometimes the P57 one moves so fast that the positions aren't explained as well, so you get more out of them if you do the Bar Method dvds to learn the technique first. And the Bar Method founder who appears in the video is pretty inspiring, given how fit she is at 63 years of age, so that's another plus!
