play catch with frisbee or ball, but move to a different spot after every throw.
LOL! We have a lab/shepherd mix. We take her to an off leash park and walk around the path while I throw the toy. But when we first got her, I would stand in once spot and throw the toy, while this was great for her it wasn't helping me very much.
