That is great Diva :hug::cheer3:

Thanks. :) High humidity days make me feel lazy and achy so I had to FORCE myself to do that little bit.

I sure miss Echo. I hope she's okay...

Onederchic 09-01-2009 02:24 PM

Yeah me too :(

I read a thread two days ago where she said that she had spilled a drink on her keybroad and some of it got on her monitor that wouldn't turn off. She was borrowing her mom's laptop to post.

The good thing is if she has to buy a new computer now they are so cheap.

I just finished my 1st 45 minute session of :ebike: exercise. You are so lucky you don't live out here, it's so smokey and hot. I feel like I am going to pass out! LOL

I don't have a body bug or anything. I just plug my info in the machines when I start. :) I don't like the Elliptical as much as I do the TM. But right now I am having some hip problems and the Elliptical seems easier on them, and if I can burn twice as many calories in the same amount of time, I am all over that! ;) I don't like the bikes at all and don't even bother with those.
Ellipticals vs treadmills.

Here's one of the articles:

http://blog.nutritiondata.com/dietin...ill-vs-el.html

But since your hip hurts the Elliptical, magnetic recumberment bike and swimming is the way to go.

Congrats girls, keep it going :)

September:
1:
40 mins Pilates, S.I.6 Start it up video, 30 mins high intensity dance, 100 crunches and light weights (10 lbs.)

Plus, I'm going to try and get my walking and C25K done this evening but because of this ash and smoke in the air and it being 105 degrees I don't know if it'll happen. I haven't been able to get outside the past few days :(

Onederchic 09-01-2009 06:42 PM

Woohoo ladies! :cheer2:

IgetfitNStrongforme 09-01-2009 07:34 PM

Hey ladies I am still here. Friday, Saturday, Sunday--I cleaned the house and the storage building like mad. I got 14 bags of give away stuff and 7 bags of trash and a house that still needs to be put back together--Im working on that as well as figuring out my school schedule. I'm pretty sure I burned some good calories. For some reason I am on that TOM again...and the cramps and fatigue wear me out!

I am going to get back into traditional exercise as soon as possible. hopefully tomorrow when classes are done.

for today 2 x 5 min walks to class and back, 10 min walk around block (very fast)
