I went to see the chiropractor yesterday about the calf pain and I think he fixed me. There was still a slight twinge this morning, but it was very minor compared to what it had been. As I suspected, something got twisted and/or pinched in my back, which isn't that unusual, and it was causing the problem. I may need to go see him every other week or so just for a tune-up. |

+47 miles for the week -- I can't quite believe it either. I did my longest pre-marathon run on Sunday, 20 miles. Then 2 6-mile runs, and then another 15 miler today (because my training partner was only available to run today). Which brings me to 509 for the year so far!!! (waving Kermit arms)
My marathon is in 2 weeks. Despite all the running I've been doing, I'm still nervous! |
Adding 4 miles from the walk I did today to Starbucks with Angie and the mutts and 12 for my OT hours since I spend them all on my feet taping drywall :)

I have only been adding to my biking mileage, but tomorrow I get to retry running, yippee! Hopefully I've rehabbed enough.

ez - I definitely am! It's sooo much fun. I feel like biking has completely changed for me, since I used to just use an old crappy bike for commuting.

I would like to join this. Right now I am just doing walking. So far .5 miles. I am counting as of today.
I see I will have to do some serious catch-up to reach 1000 miles by year's end. |
572 miles year to date. I also did 11 kayak paddling miles, but I'm tracking that separately!! (85 paddling miles so far!)
