Default Work out at night?

Last week was crazy with some activity everyday. I had no time to work out in the morning so I went at night. I dragged my butt off the couch at 9pm and worked out until 11:00pm. My usual hour of cardio and then weights.
I actually felt that I got a better work out and my weight loss was significant.
Does this woro for others? Do you eat afterwards? I went straight to bed as soon as I got home without eating.

Thanks,
Karen

me personally? I don't sleep very well if I work out too late so I stick with morning exercise usually. That said on Thursdays I walk 3 KM to my bellydancing class and then dance for an hour. That's really my only exception.

Everyone's body works differently, so if this works for you, stick with it! or change up depending on your schedule and that probably helps your body not get used to the same thing all the time!

I used to think if I don't work out in the morning I won't do it....but then in Feb I started a pilates class that was at 5:30pm...I did that for months then added the gym at 5:30am 3 days a week and also added cardio at the gym before heading to the pilates studio. I think it depends on your state of mind...I look forward to working out now...so I make time!!

Everyone is different in that respect. I used to not be able to workout at night because it prevented me from sleeping, so I worked out in the morning, now I can't go in the morning and go only at night, it works for me now...

If it's working for you and you're losing more weight for you and go for it...

Keep up the great work!!

I have an AWFUL time sleeping at night, so unfortunately workouts at night don't work for me. If I could sleep afterward I'd love to do it!

I usually workout at night, just because that's the way it goes for me. I really don't notice much difference in when I do it as long as I do it.

I have a small snack, usually an apple or a little cheese or PB2 on crackers half between weights/stretching and my hour of cardio, and the other half after I am done... if I workout at night. If I workout earlier I have a meal after my shower but if I don't have a snack when I workout before bed the next morning I feel depleted and bad.

Actually I am working out RIGHT NOW, and it's 4 AM... I didn't get up I am still up. heh.

I usually work out between 10 and 11 pm, then get a snack (protein only, usually meat), stay up for a little more and the get to sleep.
I too have found I get better results.

I have a crazy life schedule, but it is pretty normal for me to exercise until 1am and then do a bit of work afterwards and then get to sleep around 2 or 3am. Then I wake up around 9 or 10am. Not the normal sleep schedule, but it's what I have to work with.
