We had a line @ everyone's fav Treadmill today, grrrrrrrr. I hate when that happens...

Anyhoo, I did 10 minutes on the Elliptical (hated it!), Weights, and then 30 on the TM. I may go back later on....

My goal is to exercise every day & I try for at least an hour. That's the ideal. Life usually intervenes, though, and I miss a few days each month.

1: One hour swimming class, 30 minutes bike, 15 minutes rowing
2: 15 minutes yoga & stretches (housebound after snowstorm )
3: 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes rowing, 10 minutes dumbbells
4: One hour bike
5: One hour elliptical (because I have saddle sores from the bike)
6: 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes rowing
7: Ran just over 3 miles (pedometer says 3.05)
8: One hour swimming class, 45 minutes elliptical, 5 minutes rowing
9: One hour yoga class, 10 minutes dumbbells
10: 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes rowing
11: One hour bike (saddle sore healing)
12: 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes rowing
13: 20 minutes elliptical, 30 minutes bike, 15 minutes rowing
14: Ran just over three miles (pedometer says 3.07)
15: One hour swimming class
16: One hour yoga class, 10 minutes dumbbells
17: One hour bike, 10 minutes dumbbells
18: One hour bike
19: Half hour elliptical, half hour bike
20: Ran just over 4 miles (my pedometer says 2.5, but Google pedometer says 4 )
21: Ran just about 4 miles (pedometer again off, compared with MapMyRun)
22: One hour swiming class
23: One hour yoga class
24: 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes rowing
25: One hour bike
26: One hour bike (and someone at the gym asked me if I was a cyclist -- whoo hoo! -- because I was spinning so hard ); 15 minutes dumbbells
27: 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes rowing
28: 15 minutes dumbbells, one hour swimming class
29: 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes rowing
30: One hour yoga class
31: 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes rowing, 15 minutes dumbbells

Not bad for the month of March. There was only one day where I missed my usual hour of exercise, and that was because of a snowstorm. At the end of March, with the month going out like a lamb, it's hard to remember how fiercely it came in like a lion that particular day.
I'm getting Jillian's 30-day shred video for contingencies like that snowstorm day, though it may upset my landlady to hear me thumping overhead.

ETA: I can't believe this, but I have to admit, I feel somewhat guilty that I didn't get in an hour of cardio **every single day** in March. Intellectually, I know that's insane, and I should be glad for the good work I have done. But I'm always left feeling that I could be doing more. I need to watch that -- it's my self-defeating perfectionism, which raises its head again & again in so many areas within my life.

I met and exceeded my goal of 1000 minutes for February Now my goal for March is 1200. I figure with the 3 extra days over Feb. that it should be attainable.

March 1 - nada
March 2 - 45 min. general exercise, abs, legs, stomach, rear
March 3 - nada
March 4 - 3 mile walk and a few crunches
March 5 - 3 miles, jog 1/3 and walk 2/3
March 6 - 1.6 mile walk, 10 min. stair work, 20 min. yoga
March 7 - nada
March 8 - 58 min. yoga workout
March 9 - 10 min calisthenics, 27 min. yoga
March 10 - 40 min. general exercise, abs legs, stomach, rear
March 11 - 30 min. walk, 10 min. rear, legs, arms
March 12 - 20 min. upper body workout, 10 min. cardio yoga, 30 min. walk
March 13 - 20 min. workout
March 14 - nada
March 15 - 1 hour yard work
March 16 - 30 min. walking, 15 min general exercises
March 17 - 30 min. walk, 15 min. yoga
March 18 - 40 min. general, 10 min yoga
March 19 - nada
March 20 - walk/run 30 minutes]
March 21 - nada
March 22 - 2 mile walk, 27 min yoga program
March 23 - 2 mile walk, 35 min. general exercise
March 24 - nada
March 25 - nada
March 26 - nada
March 27 - nada
March 28 - nada
March 29 - 3 mile walk, 15 min. on trampoline
March 30 - 30 min. arms and exercise ball
March 31 - 30 min. cardio, 5 min yoga, 15 min jogging

Well, I didn't hit my 1200 min like I wanted to. That last stretch between the 24 and the 28th killed me in that regard. Otherwise, I did pretty well

I don't really set "goals" I just really try to get in the GYM 4 to 6 times a week. So far so good for this month.
Today I got in 3.1 miles on the TM & Strength Training.
