  • You guys are inspirational..rub some of that exercise commitment off on me...PLEASE...

Well, I walked to class and back at a fast pace..and then went shopping later in the day...that's all the exercise I got in! I should be ashamed!

  • Hi all, I'm new to this thread. I have been waking up at 7:15 each morning and doing the "My Fitness Coach" for wii and the Wii fit. I do a 30min fit coach and then at least 20mins for the fit. I try to get in 5-6days of exercise each week.
I've decided that I'm going to start getting up around 7 so that I can get 30mins in of each. We'll see how that goes!
For next month I will figure out a mins goal... probably 1,000.. we'll see though. We are moving in the next few weeks, hopefully to our new house!!

Jen: fancy meeting you here and don't beat yourself up when you only get to do a fast paced walk to classes and shopping, that's still exercise. You're still getting more activity in than the past! Keep up the good work!!

    Good night chickies
  • I'm a wimp just started exercising yesterday. Bought an Elliptical and I can barely do a minute or so without tiring. Did 15 minutes stop n start on that and then did 15 minutes on a treadmill. Figure its a lot more than the couch potato in me has done for the past year.
  • Hi All,

I have been on vacation this week and haven't been on my bike once. I have been playing my wii fitness games though. I've unlocked all the yoga and strength training exercises, so my arms are dead.

I start back to work on Monday, so I can get back to my routine. My goal is 150 minutes of cardio per week. I will be sure to start logging my progress.

^^tdiprincess - I see you have a wii too - how do you like the "my fitness coach"? I only just got my wii a couple of weeks ago - I have the wii fitness and just love it.
  • Rosie: We all have to start somewhere! You will start noticing a difference and soon you will be able to do more! Just keep working at it!!

Debbies: I love the Wii Fit!! I enjoy the boxing for my arms and then I LOVE how when doing a strength or yoga pose it comes back with a complimentary exercise to "complete" the workout!
The Fitness Coach is great! I use it as my primary cardio. I found that the Fit really isn't that great of cardio. The coach is a lot like a DVD but more interactive. I don't like any of the other exercises it does outside of cardio. It's too fast paced to do yoga or strength.
Each morning I do 30min Fitness coach and 30min Fit and feel awesome afterward!!
  • 30 minutes tm.

Jus-we all have to start somewhere. Keep at it and you will build up your endurance. I suggest keeping a log so you can track your progress.

tdi-great job on using your wii, its becoming a very popular way to exercise. Wish I had one

debbies-I find logging my exercise and food helps keep me on track. It sounds like you have a plan well established. Good job!

    Naked-great job as always!

Jen-have you been doing your ddr? Come on get up and shake that moneymaker!

  • Dream: I am enjoying the Wii. We got it when we got our tax refund. We view it as a 250 piece of exercise equipment, with the added benefit of entertaining people We like having an interactive gaming system. Dh really wanted the PS3.. but we got the Wii They have DDR for the Wii and you have mats and use the remotes, I hear its an AMAZING workout. I think that will be our next thing. But, I'm sure that'll be a while For now I'm enjoying the fit and the Fitness Coach.

Today was my day of rest from exercise. And my day off in general. I give myself 1 day a week, today, where I chill. Off to bed! Night chickies
  • 45 minutes treadmill, hoping to go for a walk with the lil one and 20 minutes of pilates later today. I'm just gonna post the tm time for now.

tdi-hope you enjoyed your day of rest.
