Carolyn, sounds like you had a good time. Too bad about the music. As far as the pedometer, I check the accuracy from time to time. Here is how I was told to do it. Put your pedometer on were you plan to wear it, note the number display. You count 100 steps, then recheck your pedometer. Anything within 10 steps is considered accurate enough. Surprisingly, mine is usually within 2 steps!

Donna, are you getting caught up on your sleep? I hope so, but WTG on the work outs girl. Keep up the good work!

Kim, Thanks for all your hardwork! GO TEAM EAGLE!!!!!!

Hey everyone! I"m doing okay. The cold wind is keeping me inside and I hate it's. It's a big community events weekend here for spring break so we will be getting out today and tomorrow. At least ski pants are wind proof.

No I haven't caught up on my sleep. I just can't seem to fall asleep, I lay there and try and next thing you know it's after midnight. It really sucks. The other night I hadn't gotten a lot of steps and got on the free step on my Wii Fit while I watched Grey's Anatomy. An hour of step and my hips were killing me and I got close to 8000 steps, so I'm glad I did it. I'm feeling good and stronger everyday.

Hi girls, we really rocked it this week!!!
Donna, I am sorry to hear you still are having trouble sleeping.....Has this ever been a problem before? You might try talking to your family doctor to see if he can suggest an over the counter remedy.....just to help get you caught up.
Kim1214, thanks for doing the number crunching, I know I can speak for all of us when I say we appreciate your efforts! I know it is kinda nerdy of me, but did you notice this weeks daily averages, were the same digits in different order? Kinda cool. Anyway, I had to really push to make my steps today, but I got them in.
Carrilyn, how are things in your neck of the woods? Have you figured out your new pedometer yet? Way to go on losing a pound! That makes it all worth it!
Feral, Sounds like you had fun in Atlanta, I know the weather was beautiful here lately, (I live between Chattanooga, and Knoxville. About 3 hours from Atlanta). Don't worry about not losing, just get back in to your good habits, and it will drop off quick for ya
Hope everyone has a good night, and don't forget to get your steps in!!!!

It's been a busy day, took the kids to storytime, soccer and the kid's lip sync (it' s spring break event). So I got over 6000 steps in today without even trying. I'm tired but thinking I will do yoga before bed as I did kids yoga this morning and my back and neck are sore. I need a relaxing yoga I think or some walking/steps. I don't know. Maybe i will just go to bed. I even napped this afternoon between events.. Crazy.

I have a new nephew, he was born last night. I'm so happy for my brother and his fiance!

I am worried about my weigh in tomorrow, I'm hoping I at least dropped one pound this week. I'm so six of being stuck. I was doing awesome all week and the last two days my eating has been not the best but the same time I was gorging on sweets or anything just maybe heavier meals.

i hope everyone is doing well.

Good morning all!
Donna, Karioke, huh?, sounds fun (to watch!) Have you figured out your sleep issue yet? If not, that is probably why you are having trouble with your eating.... I alway eat more when I am tired. When I work nightshift, and my sleeping pattern gets crazy, so does my diet! I hope your weigh in goes well too. Mine is going good this week. I have really increased my water, and green tea. No more diet soda (well a sip here and there still) Do you like hot tea? It seems to help me feel full, especially when I get the before bed munchies. Maybe you could try sleepytime tea with cammomile to help you wind down before bed. Anyway, sounds like you have a busy/fun week planned with your boys. Just hang in there, you will get it figured out!

Hi everyone else.....How are things going? I am off to get my steps for the day, hope everyone has a wonderful day!

My husband and I were able to sell one of our houses this past week. Talk about work. I was sick early in the week....had to get the things from the house we had stored there but we were able to close on Friday. Yeah for us!!!!

Now if we can sell my house we will have simplified our lives so much. There are a couple of people interested but they don't want to pay what we want to get. In this market that's definitely an issue.

Still, one house down only one to go.

I'm aiming to do more steps this week, and I'm trying to get my mindset on eating healthier I'm not sure what has happened to me. Lot of stress in my life when my mom is staying with me. I need to get control. We'll be driving her home this year from Houston to Reno. It will be a nice trip planning on stopping and seeing sights as we drive there. Then my husband and I will drive back and enjoy ourselves.

As much as you love someone you're thrilled to see them but after months you're almost as thrilled to have your house back. Previous years we would just load her up and off we would go for the weekend. This year her health is down significantly and she doesn't want to do much of anything. She's alone so much because I work. It's the pits to get old.

So much for crying in my iced green tea. Sorry.....

Carolyn

Hi Girls!

I hope everyone is doing well.

Lewis -- Yes, I'm going for at least my ADN. I don't really get the whole LPN thing. *shrugs* Eventually I want to get my bachelors and eventually Masters, but for right now I just want to get into school and out of where I work. I work at a middle school. Government jobs are great, but really... I don't undrestand how people stay in the school system so long. Everything is backwards and... well... to be honest... I worry about the teachers. They may have book smarts but common sense is non-existent around here!

I've never been to Chattanooga but have some friends that grew up there and have heard it's a lovely place. I really want to visit some time.

Carolyn - I hope things get better for you. Just remember to keep your chin up and there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Raising parents is hard to do!

I lost 3 lbs last week. However, I've managed to pick up a major head cold. I think this is the crap my parents had 2 weeks ago. I'm all snotty and my nose is red like the tylenol kid... my ears hurt and my head feels like it's in a fish bowl. *pouts*

Dealing with sickness here again. I can't believe how much I've been sick lately. I've got a sore throat with achey body and headaches. Trying to rest the few days. Stayed home from work yesterday and today. Or I left work on Monday.

I wore my pedometer both days but haven't put it on today. Just resting anyway.

On an up side, I'm getting lots of sleep.

Lewisempire~ How are things? I don't think it's nerdy of you to be going over the numbers and finding connections... because I do the same thing... well, maybe we're both nerdy...

ConfessorSiuan
~ Congratulations on your new nephew!!! Good to hear you're getting your sleep finally, sucky that it's because you're sick... I hope you feel better!!!

carrielyn~ Congrats on selling your house!!! I hope your mom starts feeling better

Feral
~ Congrats on 3 lbs!!! I hope you feel better!!!

Sorry I've been MIA again. I'm not trying to be I just keep disappearing and overlooking stuff out of stupidity. I'm starting to throw numbers together, so if you haven't finish posting yet, please do...

I'm on week 4 of C25K and my legs are really starting to feel it. Nothing really exciting has been going on other then both track and AAU are in full swing now, so I'm insanely busy trying to balance 2 jobs, coaching 2 sports and still trying to lose weight... So far, so good, but TOM has hit, so I don't know how my weight will look at weigh in this week...

Hi girls!
Donna, are you feeling any better? I hope so! Gosh I hate colds Take care of yourself, and get well soon!

Kim1214, Yay, we are almost done with this months challenge! It really has been a great success for me! What a great idea! I hope we will get some more joiners!

Carrielyn, how is the moving/selling experience going? If I remember right, it is a down right stressful time. I hope all goes smoothly!

Feral, hope school is going well....I think you are really smart to bypass LPN. They work their tales off, and get about half the pay. A lot of RNs also treat them like crap ( IMO-it really is not right)!
Well girls, We will talk again soon!

Well girls, I gather we must all have had a rough one this week! Somehow, I did manage to get the steps in (barely! and it almost took putting a gun to my head!) I hope everyone is doing well, I am looking forward to starting the new challenge. I know it is a little crazy, but starting fresh always motivates me!
