I got a fit right before Christmas now I will be honest I quit using it for about a month but I am back on it daily. I really love it and can't wait till they put out more exercise game for it. I keep hearing mixed results on the jillian michaels game so maybe I will se if I can find it really cheap so if I don't like it then I won't have wasted alot of money.

I picked up a wii on craig's list last week and finally tried wii fit tonight.

I loved it! I don't do any other formal exercise but I can tell this will be part of my regular routine.

I got most of the way through tonight before I realized I had the Balance Board backwards. I can't wait to see how much better I do tomorrow night. I still won't be able to do that Yoga Tree though, that's for sure. It'll be quite a while before I master that one.

I got my Wii Fit this week and Wednesday was my first day playing it. I've been on it every day since. Like everyone else I find it a lot of fun.

My lower back doesn't let me play it as much as I'd like but I've been able to make it between 30-45 minutes each day for the last couple of days.

I found these forums by searching for a Wii Fit routine actually. What I'm doing so far:

~ Start with Yoga (I've only got about half the poses unlocked so far)
~Move to Aerobics (Super Hula Hoop, Basic short run, advanced step and I just unlocked the rhythm boxing)
~Then the Balance Games (Ski Slalom is my favorite, Ski Jump, Soccer even though I'm bad at seeing what's coming)
~If my back doesn't hurt too much by then I go back and do a couple of the yoga moves to "cool down".

I haven't done any of the strength moves yet just because I don't have a lot of space to really be able to do them properly. Plus I don't want to do too much too soon and then not be able to do anything. My back is already pretty sore from all the bending the other games give me but I really enjoy it

Yes. I'm still using it - alternating with the "My Fitness Coach". I pre-ordered "Gold's Gym Cardio Workout" for the wii to give me one more alternative.

I will post a review when it arrives (next month).

Hi all. I am still going strong on the Wii Fit. I am thinking of getting DDR next and adding that to the mix.

I've had my wii fit for about a month and a half and I love it - I just wish I had more time to use it! I like the weight tracker option....and cannot wait until the thing no longer tells me I'm obese

But I find all aerobics dull, no blame to the wii, it helps a bit if anything.
You can actually track other stuff. It's hard to get to... You have to look at your progress graph. Look at the activity section. There will be an activity log section. There is where you can add other activity.

I really enjoy my wii fit! I did find that the cardio just wasn't enough for me. DH got me the Fitness Coach for the cardio. I still do the boxing quite a bit and then the yoga and the strength training.

I got a Wii Fit for Christmas but haven't really had the chance to use it yet. It's FUN as anything, but...does it really help with weight loss? It'll pretty much be my only exercise at least for now - I'm agoraphobic and live in a small apartment so my options are quite limited.

Violet: I think it does. It is a good starter to get going and moving around. The strength training is very good and precise. I think it is not one of the most strenuous workouts, but it is still a good one.

Hi girls, I have a quick question. Do you have to buy a Wii console? Or do you just have to get the $90 platform thingy??? I am hearing so much about this thing. THanks

You have to have the Wii console in order to use Wii Fit. Some stores are selling it all as a bundle so it may be a little cheaper that way then buying them separate.

me and my bf got ours from game stop. It was way cheaper then if we would have bought it in a store.

I must admit though, I have stopped using it as much. since i go to the gym three times a week, and do my 30Day Shred. (Which is a work out in itself!)

I'm trying to get back onto it though, and do it daily.

I love my wii fit!!!! I do it about every 3rd day. I do my treadmill and weight machine 1 day then "My Fitness Coach for Wii" on the 2nd day, Wii Fit on the 3rd day and start it all over again, with some bowling, tennis and boxing thrown in whenever I feel like it or have time.

I especially like the boxing and stepping. I had my hubby build a thing to set the board on so that it's higher and I get a better workout for the boxing and stepping as well.

In balance games my favorite is the slalom and bubble, I'm on the advanced in the bubble but the darn bees keep getting me when I'm right at the end so I haven't beaten it yet. Hate the soccer, I'm just not coordinated enough to do well.

I love the My Fitness Coach!! I do that everyday for a 30min. workout and then I do the fit for some strength and boxing for at least 20mins. Each morning I get up about 7:15, which I'm thinking about getting up a bit earlier to make sure I get 30mins in for each thing, every day. I take 1 day off a week, sometimes 2 depending on the schedule.

I love the fact that when I do strength or Yoga moves it shows another exercise that is complimentary that helps make it more of a "complete" workout.

melwolfe: I like the idea of the custom built extra step. I think I will see if Dh will do that for me. How high up is yours? What did he make it out of?

Oh and for balance games, I do the ski jump, the soccer and the bubble one. I do like the table/ball one...

My space is very limited (about a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 feeet area) to work out in. I love Leslie Sansone's walk away the pounds videos. It is a walk in place type video. Try it if you haven't already.
