I understand about never getting rid of it. The point of me being in control and not my diabetes is a goal I am looking forward to. I have to be careful when I exercise. My bs dropped to 42 today after I did 60 minutes on the treadmill because I forgot to eat my snack first. I have already had to adjust my pump's basal rate down.
MotoMichelle,
I do have a monitor somewhere from when I was pregnant. They had me keeping a close watch on it and I was recording my readings during the day. That is a good idea because as I get healthier my readings might indicate my medicine might need to be lowered. I never thought of those meds needing adjustments.
