Mind if I jump in? I'm stepping up my running this month, so I'll go with 100 miles.

Welcome MonteCristo and dream710, Good luck hitting your goals..

I finally got out and got in another 4 miles. I'm really not that far behind but it feels like I'm slacking after the number of miles I was putting in this summer. I'm slowly getting used to this phase of maintenance.

Another 4.25 miles yesterday. I wish it would hurry up and get cooler so I could try running outside. My treadmill is getting boring!

Hi Monte, Here in WI it's runnimg mid to upper 50's in the early morning so Mel and I have been enjoying our walks. So much nicer than the 90+ with 100% humidity we dealt with most of the summer!!! Yesterday we had a kitten follow us for about 2 1/2 miles before we were able to lose it. It didn't want to be carried, but we did whenever a car came by. This morning we walked the loop in the opposite direction and sure enough she popped out of the ditch right where we last saw her yesterday...we kept the little pooper safe until we got back to her home. Luckily someone was home, because 2 of her siblings started to follow us then as well. It's a cute story, but it's not going to be cute if we have to worry about the kittens every walk...we walk that loop 2 or 3 times a week on average...I hope the owners get more responsible!!!
Anyhoo, you have a great day. Another 4 for me this morning.

15 0f 50 miles

Oh, I would love upper fiftys! We still have 90 with 100% humidity, and it will probably last until the middle October.

Edit: I did another 4.25 today, which brings me up to 29.75/100.

I'm taking things slow.

Walking
.3/10 hours

Misc playground exercise
0/10 hours

Good thing I aimed low. The foot is healed so I started today. The paved path at the park I planned on walking is smooth it just isn't level. My hips were killing me after only 20 minutes. Gonna go walk the side streets instead.

I am back, a little bit late for September but oh well. Starting late is better than sitting on the couch thinking about restarting.

I am now swimming three times a week and walking/running three times a week. Well that is the plan for September. So, I have 2 days down of this (not including tonight).

Goals will be 18 miles walk/run and 15 miles of swimming.

So far I am at:

2/18 walk/run
1.5/15 swim

HI TEAM

I flew in for the week-end. We are having a big party here tomorrow for my nephew. A send off to the NAVY for him. I did not get any miles in the last 12 days. We are working 10 hour days Mon-Fri and 8 Sat and Sun. I have been eating a lot of casseroles (cooking for me and brother and bil)...and eating like I weigh 100 pounds! Add a few beers over my "limit" and wham...up 4 pounds in 12 days

Went out for one of the best parts of my life with my wife and dogs this morning for 3 miles and coffee

I am glad to see a little action here! I miss not posting but computers are hard to come by on our construction site. If my boss is around I can use his...providing he isn't and I have time....not much of it on this job...pressure to get it ready for occupancy.

Angie and I will be going to church in the morning since we can't go tonight...big game on...GO USC Anyway, that is probaly all the miles I will get this week-end...a lot to do for the party.

I will fly back tomorrow night so if I don't see you before....I will see you when I return. Keep up the good work!

6.5/75 MILES

2 miles of walk/run today. Super tired today so I am not sure if I will get in any more. Just feel a bit off.

Not going to make the challenge. I've been displaced by Ike, so my focus is elsewhere. I'm safe & sound, but my priorities are elsewhere.

Hopefully, I'll be back for the Oct or Nov challenge.
