Is it ok to go for my walk after eating?? I Keep hearing people say you shouldn't or they don't is this jsut because it causes cramps ? or does it affect calories burned or soemthing?....
It doesn't affect calories burned in any significant ways. Some bodies feel better exercising on an empty stomach, but its a personal preference issue.
I actually love to take a walk after I eat...rather than sit on the couch. It's hard for me to do intense workouts after a meal, so walking seems like a great idea.
Well I wouldn't do any power walking or jogging immediately after eating - but that's because I'll puke!
There's no reason you shouldn't exercise to whatever level makes you comfortable after you eat. Some people *can't* exercise on an empty stomach and some people can't exercise on a full one.
This is another one of those personal preference things, I think!
