W2D3 - 5 sets, 10, 10, 8, 8, 4 (40 total)

Against a new lower counter that is 8" closer to the floor, boy did that make it harder!

Amy - I didn't notice that everyone was editing their original post, either. Lol. We're such rebels. ;)

Great job, 20 is so awesome!

Hi Everyone~Is it too late to start the challenge? I need upper body strength. This would be a great place for me to start. I took the test. Could only do one regular push up. I did 3 with my legs crossed. I could do 5 wall push ups. I need to start at week one with the wall push up. I think I understand their chart for week one. Let me know, cause I don't want to hold back the team? I will start in the morning. thanks Pat

Pat
i dont think its too late we are all at different stages of this .. so just join in

Mrs Snark 07-06-2008 09:49 PM

Of course you are welcome Pat, we are each sort of going at our own pace and just sharing our experiences, hop right in! :)

Mrs Snark 07-07-2008 09:52 AM

I'm repeating week 2 (at the lower counter level) because I couldn't get 16 straight push ups in the exhaustion test this morning. Oh well, I'll get there eventually!

Glad to see people are still going at it! I think I need to restart this week, as despite my best intentions, I did not do one single push-up over the course of my vacation. So I'm going to go back to the beginning and work on W1D1 tonight.

Week 2-Day1: Max = 16. Total of 43 today. :) I'm tinking of changing this up a bit and doing them every other day regardless - and not having the weekend in the middle of weeks. Anyone else doing it this way?

Shay 07-07-2008 11:50 PM

Okay I did the initial test on Saturday. I did 5 regular pushups. I did 15 modified/girl pushups. I will do 6 weeks of modified/girl pushups then repeat the program with regular pushups.

Week 1 day one~2 2 2 2 5. Ready for tomorrow. Way to go everyone! Pat

MonteCristo 07-08-2008 09:01 AM

Mind if I join in? Last time I tried, I could do 3-4 regular pushups, so I'll be starting at level one. I think I'll stick with Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, so tomorrow will be my first day.

Dixiemae 07-08-2008 09:46 PM

Day 2 week 1~I did 4 sets of 5 wall push ups. Being I can not do regular good form push ups. I am going to have to do this challenge over several times. Going from wall push ups to modified to regular push ups. But think of the beautiful muscles I will have when I can do 100 push ups!! Pat
