Is it me or is the eliptical one scary piece of equiptment? I have stayed the **** off of it. I have been treadmilling though! Walked a mile today followed by 10 minutes on the regular bike and 10 reps each of legs curls and arms something or others. Not much, but certainly the most excersize I have ever done.

UBWL and Abs -90 min
Yoga -20 min
Have to stay off the TM and LBWL till my knees are better.

Actually Femme it's quite a nice piece of equipment once you get used to it plus it's really easy on the joints if you have knee problem... Try it, it doesn't bite, HONEST!! ;)

Just back from a nice jog about 5k I think... 42 minutes... It's bright and sunny :sunny: just above freezing ... Gorgeous day ...

Well, I just got back.

10 min Treadmill
5 minutes on the bike
10 reps on every machine they had in the gym and yes, even 5 min. on the eliptical.

Man, you guys never cease to amaze me with just how much excersize you do! I think a 5 mile walk would kill me :(

Heffalump 03-25-2008 06:45 PM

30 min. elliptical (@femme fatale: the thing didn't kill me, but it wasn't for lack of trying ;))
30 min. free weights (upper body)
7 min. stretching

Weights today, FBWO. Experimenting with a new plan of waiting a few hours before I do the jogging.

50 min elliptical
20 min yoga
20 min walk to grocery store and back (and on the way back, I was carrying bags...bonus arm workout!)

I love the elliptical so much I bought one! I hated it at first...low resistance is key to start. But it is great exercise, and so crucial for me given my knee issues.

30 minutes weight training
30 minutes ellipitical

jamsk8r 03-25-2008 11:11 PM

50 min jogging. Seemed actually harder to do a few hours after weights, as opposed to immediately after. Hmm...
