Default If you use Fitday: How do you log WATP?

So, I just bought my first WATP video to do everyday, cause some of my other fitness routines are getting boring. I also bought the Fitday for PC program. My question is this: How do you log WATP? As just walking? What speed? Also, if you do Taebo, how do you log that one?

Thanks a bunch!

Vanessa

This is a fantastic question about WATP. I use thedailyplate. I was logging it as a brisk walk but would love it if anyone had a better idea of how many calories they really burn...

I use fitday and log it as low impact aerobic exercise (when I log that is). To me I get a much better workout with that then just walking.

Leslie has mentioned on a couple of tapes "low impact aerobics", so that's what I always log it as.

I love the watp and her other walking/arobic tapes. I put half of the time under low impact arobics and half of the time under Walking, 3.5 mph, level, brisk, firm surface, very brisk pace. Somewhere on the vidoes it shows you are going 3.5 mph. I don't really care about how much burned. I just like a general showing of what I have done for the day. How much I exercise doesn't effect how much I eat.

I put it under walking, and then I figure out the pace for the particular video (count the amount of time after subtracting the warm up and cool down). For instance, a 3 mile walk in 45 minutes = 4.0 mile per hour pace. Sometimes Leslie even mentions the pace somewhere in the workout.

I don't think it matters how you log it as long as you are consistent.

THanks all! I have been logging it after figuring out the pace under walking. I like the half and half method, though I am not as worried about how many cals are burned, as I am having it in the computer so that I have a record of when and how long I exercised. When I really don't want to, sometimes having the record helps to motivate me.

Hubby said I should put all the time under walking and half the time under low impact arobics. I said well since I don't care about how much I burn off does it matter. He said well of course it does bla bla bla. Only a man would care I guess lol.
