On the days when I cannot get to the gym, I turn on the TV and start walking, dancing, and now running. I am actually really enjoying running in place as I haven't been able to run since college.
Is running in place actually any better for weight loss than walking/dancing in place?
I know running in place doesn't quite equal running but if you are enjoying it, I say keep up with it. Have you thought about doing something such as jump roping or rebounding? Those are also supposed to be good exercises.
