Walk/Run Challenge: June
I am going to set my goal for 135 this month.:o At the pace I am going it could be more but I really want to drop a run and replace it with some X-training.

I'll be cheering for you. I'm just starting out, my goal is to walk at least a half hour everyday on my treadmill (now cross your fingers that my youngest will continue with his afternoon nap).

I'm trying for 30 miles again since I didn't reach it last month.

I'm following a training schedule for my half marathon, so I suppose I could add up all the miles on it and make that my goal. But I'm much too lazy to do that, so I'm just going to guess that I'll be running about 60 miles. Didn't run today, though. :(

I dont count it on how far I run because my tredmill is confusing I count it on how long I run for my tredmill is quite advance so you can change the hight your running at so one day ill go running on about level 3 for half an hour and the next day ill go walking up a hill for 30 mins.

I think I am going to add a walking goal too..I dont usually count stroller walks in my fitness plan, but it is good psychologically.

I am going to shoot for 30 miles this month since I fell off the bandwagon last month. Today i did 2 miles of walking. Maybe I will get some more in later since it's already the 4th.

I'm in marathon recovery mode, so although I'll go for my usual 125, I won't be gutted if I don't reach it. Not least because my end of June goal (for half my yearly goal) is 750 and I'm already at 728. But I'll put 125 down officially, so it reminds me that I can do distance ;)
So far this month I've done a couple of three milers, and one longer run yesterday. 15.7/125 |

Diane you can log in kms if you want and then the metrically challenged of us :wave: will ooh and ahh over your mileage. (For the record if you want to convert multiply by 0.62) query - I never thought about this but what do you call "mileage" if you measure in km's? Some how saying "that baby's got a lot of meterage on her" just doesnt ring. :D |

I did just over an hour this morning - about 7 miles to take me to 22.6/125 I just tend to call it mileage - I measure some of my runs in kms and others in miles, but the website I log it all on converts it all into miles (although I could set it up the other way I think). |

I walked/ jogged 6.85k this morning or 4.25 miles (is that right?) Ennay- Thanks for the welcome. You are too funny, I never thought about that query before. Canada switched to the metric system while I was still in school so I flip back and forth but I really don't know much about either. Take care everyone and have a great day |

After reading what everyone has logged I guess I am suppose to have a goal. I will set it for 125 miles and see how it goes. I hope to make that and increase it next month. I logged 2.69 this morning. 23.46/125 miles- I guess that I had better pull up my socks. I'm going to try to walk again this afternoon. Take care everyone Diane |
