:welcome: Dana  the more the merrier!
|
Dana - hop on in! We love having more people to help us ALL stay accountable.
55 on the stairclimber (had to get it on my lunch break - hair trial tonight!) And to see the payoff of all of my accountability...(and because I like showing it off....). Yes, I am hiding my bandaged, taped-up, stitched up finger behind my back..teeheehee. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...2/IMG_0010.jpg |
Oh, Amanda you look sooooo sooooo pretty  ...
What happened to your arm? |
Remember 4 months or so ago, when I was stitched because I sliced my finger open on a kitchen knife?
Yeah. that. Again. We were taking bets on how i would manage to injure myself within days of the wedding. It definitely won't be healed by then completely but supposedly i get my stitches out on wednesday, so we'll have a 2-day window. I am such a dweeb. |
OMG that made me shudder
|
Welcome Dana (from another Dana! )
Amanda, you look beautiful! Please stay away from those knives until after the wedding! heheh |
First time at the gym since last Friday, quite unusual for me, this weather is getting me down :( ... Did an UBWO ...

Hello ladies. It's all in the middle of April, but I need HELP. I really need someone to flog me if I don't get it together this week, but I guess some self-motivation is in order with a little help from you guys.
I've fallen off exercise plan so for the next two weeks I'm going to go to the gym four days a week. Monday morning - Low Impact Aerobics class Tuesday - depending on work schedule either morning Cardio & Weights or evening Step 101 Thursday - same as above Friday morning - Studio Cycling I'll start there and add strength training in May. Thanks you guys --- Vicky |
Mandalinn you look AWESOME in your dress!!! all your hard work has paid off! congratulations!!!!
Weds: 4 miles on treadmil + abs = 55 minutes HR monitor = 577 calories burned Thurs: weight training + 3 miles on treadmill = 85 minutes HR monitor = 662 calories burned |
Mandalinn you look incredible!!! Look at those shoulders and collar bones! When is your wedding?
I've had a rotten week. I haven't been to the gym since last Thursday. My mum was in town and she monopolised my time so I really couldn't get away to go to the gym. On her last day with me, I came down with the flu and spent the next few days on the couch. My flu is gone now, but I have had incredible pain in my neck, shoulders and lower back (with accompanying headache) for the last few days, and it only seems to be getting worse. Yuck. I don't think I can manage a proper workout, but I think I'll go to the gym and just *walk* on the treadmill for a minimum of 30 mins and a goal of 60. I'm hoping a little gentle exercise will help to straighten out whatever is going on with my neck/shoulders/back/head. |
Baffled - can you touch your chin to your chest? neck pain plus flu symptoms can be a red flag for some scary things....
thanks everyone for the compliments! The wedding is April 21st...next weekend! Eek! I am getting in 5 workouts this week, and plan 4-5 for next week. Our joint bachelorette is this weekend so I'll post pictures if no one is too...well...drunk to remember to take them. |
Mandalinn, now you've worried me. Are you referring to meningitis? I can touch my chin to my chest--does this mean I'm ok??? I have been feeling nauseaous for the last 3 or so days too, but I haven't actually thrown up, and I have some other odd symptoms. I don't have health insurance so I *never* go to the doctor's. I'd have to be pretty certain that I was really ill to do that... Crikey!
|
Sorry for the worry. If your neck is so stiff you can't touch your chin to your chest, you have to worry about meningitis, so keep an eye on it. If you can though, you should be fine and its just normal body aches.
Probably just standard issue flu but do watch that neck and if you spike a high fever or get stiffer, its time to eat the money and go in. |
Hey all and thanks for the welcome. This week I will go to the gym a minimum of three times. That's my goal and I'm sticking to it!
Hopefully with it written here I will feel more inclined to do it! Dana |
Dana - keep posting - and know we're all watching and waiting for your 3 posts this week!
60 strong minutes on elliptical (which is time #4 for me, out of a goal of 5 or 6 this week) |
| All times are GMT -4. The time now is 06:41 AM. |
