Been thinking about doing this for months and only just tried it this morning i've put my exercise bike in front of my computer with the keyboard on the handlebars and so far i've 'biked' for 40 minutes while posting to my friends on 3FC now i've no excuse not to exercise!

Ha - that reminds me of the Internet Bikes we had at our gym several years ago. (forgot the exact name of them, as well as the manufacturer). It was a recumbant bike, with a computer screen and keyboard (kind of a twanky keyboard - one of those flat surface ones). This was probably in 1999-2000 now that I think about it - we didn't have a computer at home at the time. Anyways, as long as you pedaled, you could access the Internet, news, TV, etc. They were semi-popular - especially with my Jim, since we didn't have the Net at home and at the time our library had only a few terminals for the World Wide Web, it was definitely an incentive for him to get to the gym

After oh, about a year or so, the Internet Bikes disappeared from the gym and the company went out of business shortly thereafter...
