Did you happen to look up the ingredients?
Linghzi - Used in Chinese medicine, may help stabalize blood sugar, lower cholesterol. If you take ANY drugs for heart issues though would be a bit concerned about the effects it may have.

Ebony - no clue, could not find anything on this.
Fox nut - Looks to be an analgesic, may have blood thinning properties? Again, careful if heart medications are taken or if have problems with thin blood.
Tuckahoe - diuretic (lose water weight). Again, something to be careful with if on heart medications.
Seman pruni - laxative. Not sure if it is habit forming, it may be.
dioscorea - Used to increase appetite? Interesting
Wheat Germ - Fiber - helps feel fuller.
Given the ingredients, doesn't seem promising and may be worrisome if anyone who uses it is on heart related medications. I'd be very iffy about pills that contain natural laxatives because they can screw up with your system.
