My friend told me it was good when you're dieting cause it makes you feel full.
Is there any truth in this?
Any of you guys used it.
Any info on it's dieting effectives would be helpful.

There is a book (you can view it on Amazon), called the "Fat Loss Pharmacy", written last year...I can't remember the Dr. off the top of my head.

He advocates 5-HTP but i think it was for the mood elevation benefits????

5-htp is a naturally occurring compound in your body. It helps regulate serotonin levels which is why it may enhance your mood. I don't know if it works for appetite suppression. From what I've seen, since it can mess with your own natural serotonin levels, that you should be cautious if you are taking ANY medication, even over the counter medication along with something like 5-htp. It is also recommended to only take it under medical supervision.

It did nothing for me.... At least not anything that weening myself off carbs and getting a goodnight sleep didn't do.
