Default Question about Alli

Hi all,
I started taking Alli yesterday. I took it for each meal, and I know there was some fat because we ate at a restaurant and had dessert but I have had none of the "fat blocking side effects". So I have taken 3 pills yesterday and 2 today and NOTHING. I don't get it...does it take awhile to kick in or does your body have to adust or something?
Thanks for any info.

It takes several days for you to see the orange oil, and only if you have ingested more than 15 grams of fat at that meal. Only take it when you're going to eat more than 15 grams or more of fat at a meal, otherwise, it won't do anything at all.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for responding!
So if I eat a fatty meal tonight and take Alli, I won't see the results of TONIGHT's meal for 3 days? Just making sure I"m understanding ok...

TIA!

Sorry but the idea behind Alli is not to take it with a fatty meal. Side-effects are not supposed to happen. You are trying to eat to avoid them happening. Its not a magic pill to allow you to eat fatty food regardless. Its only a tool which will only help your weightloss if you follow a low fat, low calorie diet.

Well I know that... but sometimes if you are out at a restaurant fatty meals just happen once in awhile.

Be careful with the dosis sweety, I have a friend who still has "accidents" and she stopped taking Alli a month ago

Once in a while perhaps, but your first day? If you have eaten a high fat the effects will be a couple of days later.
