Good Morning, I have diabetes and I`m getting so confused.....I was on Low carb but all the food that is out in stores have alot of fat and calories if it is low carb, as a diabetic how much fat are we allowed per day?? This is real new to me. Thank You

My dietician recommends at least 25 to 30 grams of fat a day because you need that much to utilize the nutrients in your food. By the way I am a controlled Type II diabetic and got that way on the South Beach Diet eating GOOD carbs. Check out the South Beach Forum.
